The Park Hotel

I recently stayed at this hotel for two nights and had a mixed experience. On the first day, I booked a Luxury room which was quite small but had a separate cabinet for bathing. On the second day, I opted for a Premium Luxury room. While it was also compact, it came with a bathtub, which added a touch of comfort. Overall, the room sizes felt a bit tight considering the price point. Location-wise, the hotel is well-placed. Major attractions like Victoria Memorial and the Indian Museum are very close by, and there are also several famous temples in the vicinity, making it convenient for both sightseeing and spiritual visits. The food served at the hotel is good, with breakfast standing out as particularly enjoyable. A good variety and quality made for a pleasant start to the day. The service was commendable. The staff were polite, friendly, and supportive. They were considerate enough to approve my request for an early check-in and a late checkout, which I truly appreciated. However, I still felt that the cost of the room didn't quite match the space and overall offering. In summary, while the rooms are small and may not fully justify the price, the excellent location, decent food, and courteous service help make up for it.

I stayed in a deluxe room, which was in a condition that is difficult to describe. The walls showed signs of dampness, and the bathroom was extremely cramped--to the point that the door nearly hit the toilet, and a single step inside put everything within reach. Contrary to what was advertised in the brochure, basic amenities were missing. The view from the window was of a drainage pipe, which added to the overall discomfort. Room service was disappointing, with responses taking significantly longer than expected. Frankly, I question the rating system that allows hotels like this to be listed as premium options. The experience was not worth the amount charged, and the overall service quality was severely lacking. If you're considering spending your money here, I would strongly recommend donating it to a good cause or treating yourself to a relaxing spa session instead--anything would be better than a stay at this establishment.

The Bridge Restaurant at The Park Hotel Kolkata offers a delightful dining experience. The ambiance is sophisticated and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. The service was attentive and efficient, and the menu provided a good variety of options. I particularly enjoyed Pork Chop and Lamb Chop. Overall, The Bridge is a solid choice for a pleasant meal in a stylish setting.|Visit to The Bridge Restaurant at The Park Hotel Kolkata was a truly enjoyable experience. The ambiance is a standout - elegant and contemporary, creating a lovely atmosphere for dining. The staff were incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring a seamless and pleasant meal from start to finish.

The location is the only major reason to recommend this hotel,bang on Park Street,just outside hotel lots of eating and drinking options including some of Kolkata most legendary one like Flurrys ,Kwality ,Trincas,also this hotel has one of the oldest and famous club So perfect place to stay for someone came for enjoying party or tourist,location is centrally in Kolkata with metro just 5 min walk.||But I didn't like the property itself. The first impression,reception lobby is too dark in evening,check in staff was courteous and fast. Rooms seriously needs renovation,everything from furniture to plumbing,everything plus the housekeeping staff needs to do cleaning thoroughly,when I stated boiling water for tea a smell started coming from the electric kettle,when checked it was some remains of instant noodles (as per smell) of previous guests,not acceptable at this standard of hotel.Rooms and Washroom are small,rooms are just ok for 2.|Breakfast was ok,expected better also the breakfast place was congested.|On 2nd floor where my room was ,there was an open terrace for smoking and just chilling and even that area required maintenance asap ,its wooden floor was damaged and anyone can get injured specially during night .

Rooms were tidy and staff exceptionally caring & responsive. ||Overall the food , people all are great. You won't get bored here - you can try cuisines and drinks . Everything is quality and clearly giving a luxurious feel. I recommend to stay and looking forward to next trip soon.

The location of the hotel is amazing. The amenities are decent. The staff is couteous. Response to requests is prompt. All good restaurants are also close by. Good food options at hotel too. A nice place to stay. Overall a wonderful experience.

Everything went well during my stay. The food is good, the rooms are clean, the personnel is very kind, and the location is unmatched. I would stay again in the hotel. Sumilita and Diya at the reception are the best! If I had a company, I'd want them in my team.

This is NOT a 5-star hotel, be warned. Rooms are closer to a 3-star at best, even the luxury rooms. I had to request to switch rooms on arrival due to cleanliness and smell - I've never had to do this before. Reception service is relatively poor, especially for a luxury hotel. The location is good. There was music blasting from the hotels club until around 4am. If that's what you're going for, then enjoy. But just know what to expect.
