The Broome Kolkata

This is very near to busy Gariahat market, yet away from the crowd and noise. The atmosphere around is residential and quiet. The rooms are maintained well and the staff members are cooperative and responsive. We enjoyed our stay. It may be good for one to check for availability of car parking facilities with the hotel management in advance which could potentially be a challenge if more boarders / visitors need that at the same time.

The Hotel is very well placed in the heart of South Kolkata. the rooms are clean and well maintained. The staffs are very cooperating whenever there's been an issue. And if you have taken their premium room with the terrace, that adds to the beauty of staying in this Hotel. Thank you Broome Kolkata for offering a great stay.

The hotel came recommended by local friends. We had clean functional rooms that came with functional AC and ceiling fans. Bathrooms came with a nice shower, but sadly no mop or separation so the whole toilet area gets wet. Bring slippers! Also did not come with toilet paper by default so bring that if you need it.||Staff was very friendly and readily available. The hotel does not have a breakfast hall which is something they could improve on. They do however bring breakfast to your hotel room if requested the day before. There is also a nice restaurant downstairs that offers a lot of options for reasonable prices.||Local area is nice with multiple cafe's and restaurants. Sienna comes highly recommended in particular but is a bit expensive. The hotel is a bit hidden from the street. Follow the sign until you see a small restaurant and then the entrance is to your left.

Superb location and very clean property, with comfortable room and bath. Several good and reasonable restaurants nearby. Although, I am not from Kolkata I have been visiting relatives in that area for the last 40 plus years and love walking around that area in the narrow lanes & footpaths. Nice stay, thanks.

This place I believe is the best place to stay if you have family or business in South Kolkata. Nice clean spacious room with all comforts at tiny cost. Now they have their own dining facility

Very comfortable, elegant rooms, with ethnic furniture, and well-furnished. A quiet area but with easy access to nearby markets and restaurants. Really remarkable and memorable stay!

Fantastic location!Multiple cafes , stores and eateries within a 2 minute radius. Rooms are neat, clean and the terrace on the 3rd floor is a big plus. Great staff. The manager Ushmita is particularly helpful

I'm currently staying at The Broome and I must say you couldn't fault their services. Dhaneswar is always there on call and is very prompt and courteous. The place is clean and an array of cafes right nearby allows for plenty of choices. Total value for money. One thing though....they need to get their wi-fi act together. The wi-fi is patchy at best , and then completely stopped working for more than 24 hours now. Wonder how they run the place with so many international guests as wi-fi is now as basic as drinking water! Apart from that, the place runs like a tight ship. Simple, yet functional. But please please fix the wi-fi as I plan to come back later this month and then in April
