Hotel O Pratiksha Guest House

Utterly disappointed with their behaviour. They deny check-in even after receiving confirmation from the booking apps and paying in advance. They then ask for over priced offline booking. The only good thing is the location.

The room was dirty, bedding had cigarette holes, constant street noise, and lots of mosquitoes. Avoid this guesthouse. I switched to a different hotel. As a traveler on business to Kolkata, I relied on the images they posted ( huge mistake on my part ) the room does not look like what they show online. Find another guest house / hotel in Bangur ( there are plenty ) for the same price.

Not worth the rent charge. Rooms small, bathroom ok and no fooding. They can get you food from outside only if their staff is available. As we had reached in the afternoon we wanted to get lunch. Initially they said they can get it for us but when we wanted to order they said no staff available. Apart from that I did not find it up to OYO standard and room rent definitely too high for a budget hotel. They were initially unwilling to give any receipt for the payment too,when insisted then they have us the receipt. I would personally not recommend until it has been renovated or upgraded to OYO standard.

They accept booking from OYO and give rooms to someone else for some extra money and give contact number of his another friend, who are in same business, and who charge more from guest according to there emergency needs....this behaviour of owner is disgusting......they told us to cancel the bookings from OYO which they accept.

Not value for money. Services are very average and infrastructure is poor. However price charged is too high as compared to other hotels. No elevator or escalator. The place where the hotel is situated is a residential locality. It has a hotel named as Pind Punjab Dhaba at its ground floor and hotel serves food from the restaurant only. Now the menu of the restaurant is limited to Parathas only. So guest gets a very less choice of food. It is in lane beside Reliance Fresh and cannot be seen from a moving vehicle. It is not easily accessible. However near the hotel is Bangur Main Market and if you can go out of the hotel one can have really good variety and choice of food.

The ambience and the service of this pocket friendly hotel is quite good. The staffs are very humble and very friendly towards their guests, and takes good care of them. Overall, had a lovely experience throughout the stay.

It was really bad experience, my room was booked but when I reach the hotel they denied to provide the room said not available, and the and then I called customer care they just disconnected the call without any solution, I did not get the room in the mid night, was helpless that time.

This is a cosy place to stay in. Rooms are clean. Staffs are helpful. It is located in a good place, transport and eateries will not be a issue here. Try foods from Pind Punjabi Dhaba, its great.
