Hotel Niharika

Rooms are cozy and clean. Hotel is located with nearby metro station Rabindra Sadan and all sight seeing places at 3 km radius. Staff is helpful and polite. They also allowed me to check a little early. Only minus point was , In the mid afternoon and late night at 10.45 pm Maintenance Workers were working without any concern that a Customer is sleeping in his room. I had to call the Reception to stop the work and then only the noise stopped. Else everything is fine with the hotel.

Hotel Niharika is located in upscale area of Elgin, a bit off centre. The front desk staff was cold and clueless. Room was small size and bathroom clean. The mattress had BED BUGS. Room service was prompt, and food was good. The room experience spoiled my stay. When, I complained about bedbugs , at the frontdesk, response was cold and without any action or apology. Not suitable for business, corporate travellers.

Try to avoid booking in this hotel they are just looting customers very bad experience in this hotel. Everything is on jugad technology and the room is so congested and they turned off Ac in the middle of the night. The breakfast and Dinner buffet menu is very limited you can find that many options in desserts in other Hotels even at a lower price. Be very careful while staying there they can charge for anything from you and be aware while kids are with you in rooms they will charge for 10 rs snacks for 24 rs so be aware.

We have just visited to reasturent for lunch this hotel is in the heart of ooty and the best part is there is ample of parking so that you can enjoy the best taste of food in the heart of ooty outside there are lots of shops for shopping also there is liqour shop near by Hotel is very old but well maintain It has become one of the charm of ooty Boating is nesr by botanical garden is near by

Excellent food,Chef Anirudh took great care of us ,we reached late ,but Manager , Mr Animesh still invited us .we were taken care very well.Staff was wonderful & the mutton dish made by chef was amazing, chicken was very tender & caramel Custard & Brownie was just icing on the cake . Thanks to the team we will visit again to try continental menu .

Room and washroom were neat and clean. Breakfast and food was good. Room service excellent. People at reception were very co-operative. Cons - Bathing area was small.

This Hotel is taking advantage of being in a Good Location.Nothing else is acceptable. Room size is very small..Bathroom size is like a train has. Waist of Money. You ask for any food / drinks as room service,thet will ask you to pay immediately..they don't also give you time till you finish your food. Linens were not cleaned properly.Room was smelling badly.

Very clean hotel and feels almost like a luxury hotel. Service was good and staff was nice. However communication can be difficult as the working staff(not managers) don't speak much English. Just call the reception if you need anything. Fresh breakfast was served everyday and had a variety of food. Like some simple toast to ease you stomach from all the curry you will eat elsewhere. Location was good as well, as it is in the centre of Calcutta, but also due to that there is traffic nonstop. So if you sleep very light, take some earplugs with you. Overall good experience and will stay here again on my next visit
