Honest Review Stayed here for two nights with my family. I had called the hotel a day before our arrival to ensure everything would be comfortable. The staff on the call was polite and encouraged me to trust their hospitality, even mentioning that many of the negative reviews were from guests who didn't get discounts. I decided to give them a chance. The biggest plus is the location--it's in a prime area, with easy access to major attractions, shops, and taxis. Very convenient, especially for tourists. The hospitality was also genuinely good. The reception and service staff were helpful, friendly, and responsive. When we asked for a late checkout due to a late-night flight, they allowed it smoothly with a 3000 fee, which we appreciated. That said, the rooms were disappointing. We booked two rooms, and both were extremely small--barely any space to walk around. The property is old, and the rooms showed clear signs of neglect. They weren't soundproof, and worst of all, they were very dusty and unclean when we checked in. We found hair on the bed and floor, stained bedsheets, dirty flooring, and a dusty fridge. Despite informing them in advance, the rooms weren't ready. To their credit, once we complained, a staff member promptly came, changed the bedding, and dusted the room. They even offered to clean it the next day, but we declined, knowing it wouldn't make much difference. I chose this hotel only because I needed an Indian-style toilet for my parents--something hard to find in other hotels. So I can't entirely complain, but I wouldn't return unless absolutely necessary. If you're traveling solo and on a tight budget, this might work for a quick stay. But for families or those expecting basic cleanliness, I wouldn't recommend it. The service is excellent, but the cleanliness and value for money are major letdowns. The location of the hotel was excellent; however, the ambience was rather cluttered. Rooms were good washroom was also clean. Key areas such as Esplanade and Park Street are within walking distance from there. The primary issue lies with the staff members who escort you to your room, as they consistently asking tips (monetary compensation). I transported my own luggage to my room, yet he still requested a tip. Each time I placed an order, he would deduct a portion as his tip and then request additional compensation. I would like to offer a suggestion: do not pressure guests into providing a tip.

Very bad service.We stay there for 3 days,they didn't clean the room for once.when we check in they said we can pay via card, but when we check out they totally refused. Staff are also so disgusting.Their behaviour was horrible Add: We stayed at your hotel in March. Learn to correct mistakes,don't lie.Should we record you when we check?We didn't know that you will be lying. So accept your mistake or intentionally harassment that you or your stuff did

"I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly disappointed. The Executive Premier Room we booked was not as expected. The picture looked better, but the actual room was small, with poor ventilation and a bad smell. When we tried to move to a slightly better room, they charged us more than the actual price difference according to the Agoda app. We paid $85 for a 3-night stay in an Executive Premier Double Room, while the Deluxe Room price was $120 for 3 nights. However, they charged us an extra 6000 Indian rupees ($72) to upgrade, which is double the real price difference of $35. The hotel's app description was misleading, with photos that didn't reflect the actual room. They offered a double bed and a single bed, but in reality, one of the beds was a sofa converted into a bed, and the double bed was not standard size. The service was also poor. We requested a late check-out of just a couple of hours, but they refused badly, demanding payment for the entire day if we wanted to stay even one minute longer. This was unprofessional and unreasonable. In the better room we moved to, there was no room service, and the washroom ran out of water. We called for service multiple times, but received no response. The staff exhibited rude behavior, and the customer service was the worst we've experienced. I've checked other reviews and seen similar complaints, but the hotel continues to respond defensively, without even apologizing for their mistakes. It's clear that they're more interested in saving face than taking responsibility for their errors and making amends. The hotel's location near the new market may be convenient, but their attitude of "people will come and pay anyway" is unacceptable. We hope they will take our feedback seriously and make necessary improvements to avoid losing business. In conclusion, our stay at this hotel was a disaster. The misleading description, uncomfortable room, poor service, and unreasonable policies make for a terrible experience. We strongly advise against booking this hotel until they make significant changes to their service and policies."

Pls no body stay here. Hotel rooms are ok ok as per price. But hotel staaf behaviour very bad. They don't know how to deal Customer. Not helping nature.

One of the best hotel to stay in the heart of the city. Rooms are very clean and they maintain proper hygiene in the hotel. The staffs are welcoming and quite helpful. A must stay in Marquis street, Park Street. If you are on your honeymoon, friends trip, medical concern etc.
