Sleepy non responsive staff. Acting like they're being forced to work. Zero hospitality or warmth or professionalism. Had to ask for water so many times but somehow it was a monumental task and the water never came. I think it's one of the most basic things you can easily offer. We literally checked in at 11:30 and checked out by 3:30 because we had a train. And even then getting an bottle of water was asking too much. Don't know how they've got all these good ratings. The owners should replace the staff overall of they want return customers to their property. Disappointed.

Let me share my experience and then what i realised from the vibe of that place and its staff. First thing that happened with me was, NO COMMUNICATION from the staff side. Not once did they enquire about our stay or if we needed anything like cleaning service which by the way brings me to the second point. That being the lack of cleanliness of the bathroom in particular. Which by the way we complained about but still nobody came to even take a look. We even had to call them for the complementary water bottles, both the day we stayed there! I guess it was our mistake we booked a basic room. Perhaps they would have served us better if we had taken a high-end room. I chose the place after watching Ashish Vidyarthi's stay there. But i guess VIPs get seperate treatment everywhere. So, i realised perhaps you need to book a high-end room to enjoy the BASIC things that we missed in service or perhaps you never go there again. Too many good places around and too short a life to give chances like that for basic mistakes like these. Hope you improve.

Our stay at Eennra was absolutely delightful! The rooms were spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable with all the necessary amenities. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time, offering local insights. The location was perfect, close to all the key attractions , restaurants , coffee shops near southern avenue, while still maintaining a peaceful atmosphere. We highly recommend this guesthouse for anyone looking for a warm, authentic experience in Kolkata.

Great Location. Walkable to the best Cafes in the area. Suite Rooms are very nice with Balcony. The pillows are quite hard & uncomfortable. The quality of the complimentary soap or the bottled water needs improvement. Breakfast MUST be optional. Hand towel should be supplied without asking for it. The sound of Generator could be disturbing, when shooting of film etc is happening nearby.

The value for money is exceptional, and the place is impeccably hygienic, ensuring a safe and pleasant stay. This was a surprising discovery by my wife. We love south Kolkata and had a great time at this boutique hotel. The location is great. You have a ton of extremely good cafes and other eateries around. There's even great clothes stores and leather goods stores around.

A gem of a stay with Bengali vintage charm in a calm but happening locale with lots of delicious cafes within a kilometre radius. Near Rabindra Sarovar and Vivekananda Park. The staff are extremely accommodating and courteous. Also, value for money. I hosted around 9 people for a family event and all of them were extremely satisfied with the stay. Ritisha, co-ordinated & helped me with organizing the stay for my guests. I would definitely recommend this place.

Booked this whole guest house for 2 nights. Me my family and friends had gr8 stay. It reminds u of the old heritage of kolkata and staff was excellent specially the lady at the receptio.
