Very good room condition with nice and friendly staff behaviour and food quality is also very good. The main market is a few minute walking distance from here but if you wanna feel like you are staying in a offbeat place within a forest without actually going too far from the main town then this hotel is best for you.

Homely environment. Room service was v. Good. Food was ok. Budget friendly. Bibash needs special mention because it's he who manages everything over there with a smile on his face. The owner Mr. Mondal is very humble and it's he who keeps a homely environment in the lodge. The only con is there are a lot of insects coming from the evening time, for which the windows need to be closed tight before sunset.

We have stayed here for one night ( fooding and lodging) Here are the pros and cons of the lodge. Pros: 1. Staff behaviour is top class. They are very helpfull and good in nature. 2. Location is good. 3. Food is also good. They will provide lunch, evening snaks, dinner, breakfast in the package Cons: 1. Room no. 203,204 are very small , no sunlight, congested. Please avoid these rooms. These rooms are for single person. Not suitable for family. 2. Unfortunately our travell agent booked these rooms. So we are very dissapointed. 3. Thoes who wants some spacious rooms, this lodge is not for them. Note: if budget is below average/ average then it is good choise.

This was because there was homely atmosphere . The food service was really good. Staff service was excellent. Time to time service. Mr Mondal was a good and helpfull person took a lot of care and really aranged the trip nicely. View from the balcony was awsome of the whole city. The arrangment of the car was also done by him. All total very helpful and responsible person. Thus the next time when I visit there I would live there as the rooms are good and the surroundings are nice. This hotel can also be my recommendation for others.

Service is quite good. Behavior of manager is polite. Its position is also good, 5 or 7 minutes walking distance from kalimpong market. You can stay there.

Third class hotel (not a hotel, part of an ill-maintained residence about 60-80 years old) . Rooms are nasty, dim and dull, moist, full of flies, we could not sleep there. Smelling everywhere. Upon complaining their behaving rude and arrogant. WHY DON''T YOU TAKE CHARACTER CERT BEFORE BOOKING AS YOU SAID YOU COURTEOUS AND HONORABLE GUESTS. 1) When your hotel and staff has 0% decorum - how could you expect decorum from customer. 2) I have requested the tour agent to relocate in next morning - not you. This proves you are not only arrogant but YOU LIE. 3) As you are talking about wasting of time - You wasted our 1 night what about that? 4) Mr. Philips is part time driver he drives school cars. Somehow the owner has arranged him for low cost. He is good driver but don''t know the sites well. Horrific story is with us for your rudeness, how you was horrified? 5) Dropping to Rishap was arranged by other hotel (Himali guest house) next morning not by you morons. 6) You and your staff needs to upgrade your behavior and condition of hotel rooms. 7) I must say you must close you hotel business and start burglary/robbery, it will better suit you depending on your culture and mentality. TRUST ME!

The behavior of all the staffs especially the managing boy, the nepali boy Bivash is very polite and he is like a back bone of the lodge. The owner of the lodge is very helpful and a very practical person. The rooms are also very spacious and clean. The quality of pillows and bed sheets is very nice.Overall this can be a good choice for homestay in Kalimpong

We were staying there 5days we feel ed like home. Mr Mondal is a very helpful person he guided us as a senior brother. He made our trip plans and booked the car. Fooding was also very good and service was excellent I highly recommend sriniketan Lodge
