Roopkatha Hotel Kalimpong

I stay this hotel for two days @1800/day including breakfast. Room condition very good & clean. Meal quality also very good & meal charges not so high as per tourist spot. Manager & subordinate staff so lovely behavior.

First time I came here in Kalimpong. And Hotel Roopkatha is phenomenally awesome. Hotel service is excellent and stuffs are very kind and helpful. You can also get a nice view of hills from the window balcony. Must try this hotel if you want the best !

All staff are friendly, hotel view was amazing. We stayed for 1 day and room, bathroom was cleaned. We ordered dinner and the place of eating was fully maintained and cleaned and food taste was good. Overall good.

Beautiful hotel and the receptionist is very helpful and have very polite and good behavior. Rooms are clean and Beautiful the sunrise from the hotel is just awesome you can see the deolo park from the room. Rooms have heater to keep warm during winter and everything is very good room is cleaned neat and tidy... loved the room and the hotel

The hotel is a 'no' from our experience as we are highly dissatisfied with the service. The hotel may be a booming center in the past but the current staff and management is totally neglecting their own property. The geyser of our room was not working and even after asking the staff to check they couldn't solve it. What can be your experience when the geyser is not working in a hill station? Bathroom was dirty with black stains on the floor The toilet flush was not working FORGET FREE BREAKFAST, NOT EVEN A CUP OF TEA IS READILY AVAILABLE HERE. No restaurant in the hotel though a good one is available at the opposite of the hotel. The rooms were not clean The bedsheets are not changed and had stains and hair over them Television sets are non functional No electric kettle is present in the rooms of the hotel. But the staff arranged one when we asked them. I would definitely blame the management rather than the 2 lone staff in the entire hotel

Very bad experience. 1) room walls have multiple Cracks. 2)wifi speed is really slow. 3)Food too expensive but average quality. 4)blankets are smelling really bad. 5)no covers in some pillows. 6) No Signal in TV (not able to use). 7)Significant number of insects in room.still no good night/all out provided despite of multiple requests. 8)toilets besin was not usable initially. Repaired after 1day. 9)bad smell on toilet. 10)no intercom facility available.

Service was at best with well mannered manager and staff, clean room and bathroom though found a used whiskey bottle from the drawer corner . Scenic view from the rooms were the highlight however slight spacious room would have been much better.

Never ever stay in this hotel. We are totally disappointed and dissatisfied. Have booked a room long before but to our utter surprise though they gave a room with a good view but the room was totally unhygienic. Bathrooms are dirty. No sealed water bottles were provided in our room. Filter water is only available. Atlast when at 9 we went to the reception to order food, they told us food is not served here in the hotel. Again we went to nearby shop and brought something to eat. Guys, donot come to this hotel at all. Its a big NOOOO from me. They say something else over phone and give something else. Treating tourists well will give you a good feeback not with advertising.
