It is a cheap stay just beside the Azimganj City Railway station. Safe to say, you should book it only if you have a night to stay here as there are not too many options for stay in this area. The rooms are stuffy, and will make you sweat throughout the night. The rooms are just beside a railway level crossing, so be ready to hear blaring train horns and level crossing gate sounds while you try sleeping.

Located near to Azimganj City railway station, hotel Akash Ganga is a very popular and running hotel at Azimganj. The location is extremely sound and we'll connected by train, Toto rickshaw etc. The main station is Azimganj Jn which is 1 km away from the same. The rooms are budget friendly and economic. We have stated in double occupancy rooms which are clean but less spacious. The geyser was working fine and water pressure was also good with an ok bathroom quality. However, the same is extremely narrow. The tv in one of the rooms was not working. The main problem with this room is the noise due to train being just adjacent to the rail line. The staff behaviour could be more professional as they entertain no. of guests during the winter. The room fare was confused at the time of check out which was not expected. The hotel has a restaurant at the ground floor which is very popular as well, but the space is again very less. At a time, maximum 10 persons can have foods there. The hotel also has common toilets outside rooms which are clean as well. The blankets are good. The place is well connected to the tourist places like charbangla temple, ponchomukhi shiv temple, dahapara etc. There are banks, ATMs and food stores nearby. The Azimganj ferry ghat is also at a walkable distance. In a nutshell, this is an economic hotel and value for money.
