Methobari Green Resort

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this venue. The venue was well laid out with an added tree house. We stayed there for 3 nights and felt like home to home. The rooms were clean spacious and air conditioned and had geysers. The hospitality of the staff was amazing. Food was plentiful per plate and delicious and could order whatever we wanted. I cannot thank them enough for their service and care. The ambience of the place was beautiful. A typical rural village setting but with modern facilities. The meeting place and hub was the open dining space and the garden We will definitely stay again. |Thanks to all the staff who cared for us during our visit.

Spent a couple days at Methobari. This is 3 km away from Jhargram town and is a quiet place with greenery around. This is a very well maintained resort. We opted for the tree house. The food was mainly Bengali fare, and was very well made. The hosts are very gracious and room services are also prompt and timely. Went in Late February. Recommend.

I can undoubtedly say this place is one of the best resort in Jhargram. I stayed there for one night and they made in impressed in all the ways. Food is great, Room is great, ambience is excellent and at last but not the least their staffs, owners behaviour is very good. They arranged everything we asked at timely manner. Please stay here whenever you go Jhargram. They are the best.

Very scenice resort, rooms are too cute! Specially the tree house! Good stay if u are looking for calm cozy place! And pet friendly too! So all of us enjoyed

Unwelcoming and Discriminatory Service I contacted Methobari Resort on March 17th to inquire about a wheelchair service for my mother, in case she needed assistance walking around the premises. She is not bedridden or in need of medical attention--if she can comfortably travel by car from Kolkata to Jhargram, she is clearly fit to travel. To my shock, the reception instantly responded with, "Please don't come. We cannot serve you all. It will lead to other guests' problems and our problems too." This was both insulting and discriminatory. Are we not allowed to travel with our elderly parents? Is hospitality only reserved for young and able-bodied guests? Such an attitude is completely unacceptable for an establishment in the hospitality industry. If a simple request for accessibility leads to outright refusal of service, it speaks volumes about their lack of empathy and professionalism. I strongly advise travelers, especially those with elderly family members, to think twice before considering this resort. Most inhospitable hospitality!

Wow this place was an experience. They have such an amazing arrangement of accommodation around nature. The people were super friendly and had amazing vibes. They let us pitch our tent in their property without any charge and we had amazing food in their in house cafe. We were really impressed with the morning views of the nature under the trees. The owner took us to a local jaggery makers shop and we tried some natural jaggery juice. The overall stay was incredible and the food was really amazing. Will definitely recommend staying here and I will comeback here someday for sure.

Awesome environment.. inside the nature , . Anyone can feel the nature ... rooms are very clean well maintained, as well washrooms.. I should tell about their hospitality.. it is so touching that any one can feel homely .. I would recommend everyone without any second thought..

Visiting Methobari Green Resort in Jhargram was a refreshing escape into nature. Surrounded by lush greenery, the resort offered cozy rooms, local cuisine, and a peaceful atmosphere. Mornings began with birdsong, and leisurely walks through scenic trails provided a chance to explore the beauty of the region. Evenings were magical with sweet rustling of leaves under the stars. It was the perfect place to unwind and experience the simplicity and charm of rural life.The hospitality was awesome and every little requirements of the guests were taken cared of. Overall it was a wonderful experience staying there. I really look forward to visiting the place again.
