Hotel Hillview

I had the pleasure of staying at Hill View, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! Located near the Bhutan border, the hotel offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding hills and nature, making it a perfect escape for nature lovers. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The staff was friendly and welcoming, providing excellent service throughout my stay. The food was delicious, offering a variety of local and regional dishes that were prepared fresh and full of flavor. The peaceful and serene environment made it the ideal place for a relaxing retreat. One of the highlights of my stay was the breathtaking view of the mountains, especially at sunrise. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway near the Bhutan border, Hill View is the place to be! Would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. I'll definitely be back!

Its located very close to the India-Bhutan border. There are lot of hotels located on both sides. The ones on the Bhutan side is much better than the ones on the Indian side. But said that, for a backpacker, this hotel is good enough. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious & clean. One can park their vehicle on the road side or they have a huge parking space within the property and the gates are locked at night. The staff is friendly and are always ready to help. The hotel accepts both Indian & Bhutanese currency and one can exchange currencies too. The food is average but the quantity is good.

Hotel is good, room was clean. However, staffs weren't much professional. Even calling on the reception Towel was not provided. So we checkout and move to the next hotel. As price is almost same.

I stayed (for the second time in two years) at Hill View. Comfortable, no frills hotel with helpful staff members. I stayed in the AC room 202 and was very comfortable. The hotel is on the main road, but there wasn't too much noise coming in except that of kids playing ball on the road! Food was served in the room and was served hot soon after it was ordered. I booked over the phone as I did not see them listed on most travel websites. The surprising thing was good wifi that came with the room.

It was OK for the price but bit dirty. Their food is lousy. Dining floor and tables are dirty. They could do much better than that with so many staff hanging around doing nothing. They should be able to manage the hotel better. They lack efficient management. For food there is a good restaurant about 3 min. walk from the hotel.

We just checked the hotel for refreshment purpose i.e. 6hr only in the morning & before starts for Paro, bhutan. ||||Rooms are clean, specious though bathrooms are small. Front desk staffs are very helpful but the other staff are not..||||Food is overpriced. Location of the hotel is just 10min (walking distance) away from Bhutan gate.

Hotel is good, Room was clean. service and food was excellent

Jaigaon being a small border town of W.B and Bhutan, people generally book hotel just for the night stay with very less expectation. This hotel just meets that expectation level. Rooms are specious though bathrooms are very small. No soap been provided in the toilets and after repeated requested we could manage only one towel. No Dish connection, hence very few local Indian and Bhutanese channels were available. Lifts are always under maintenance and there is no room on the ground floor, so very difficult with the senior citizens. But the best part of the hotel is it's high speed wi-fi.
