Ajodhya Eco Nest

Very beautiful place to stay at Ajodhya hill top in Purulia. Free Car parking facility is available with driver accomodation ( charge separate ). All the staffs are very attentive with nice behaviour. Highly recommended.

The rooms are basic , even though they charge you 2200 pernight without breakfast or anything. Your car will keep honking but there is none at the gate for initial 4-5mins to open the door for you. The service is very bad. If you ask for a cup of tea you might just think of going to Darjeeling to pluck a few leaves and come back to the place while they are still making your cup of tea. The food tastes so bad that you might just faint. Definately a big NO for this place. The near by CADC guest houses are much better. And if you could afford bit much there are plenty of hotels around. Try not to book it. But it's a quite place. So if none of the above matters to you, feel free to go

Rooms were spacious and clean.Services like Wifi, geyser, AC are available.Extra sofa-cum-bed given for more than two people.Foods were quite good not so much rich and oily.Only constraint I find,bed mattress quite hard which is not comfortable for sleeping.

Great experience. The Caretaker Rahul is a very polite person and took care of all our needs. The ambience of this resort matches the locality. Uninterrupted power supply is available here.

This place is surely your go to weekend spot in Purulia. The staff here is super friendly. The rooms are Clean and tidy. Per person per mattress is offered. Geysers work perfectly. Plenty of power outlets do if one requires. A mosquito repellent was also present in our room, though I'm not sure if it is the case for other rooms. Plenty of open space is the compound for roaming and car parking. The food here is delicious too. This place comes with a swing for kids. Barbecue facilities are available too. The cottage is right beside the road also. The only negative point I noticed was that the wifi is not so strong. The internet goes away at random times for very long periods of time. So mobile data needs to be used. A better wifi is definitely recommended. Leaving this single red flag, I would definitely recommend staying at this cottage. It's perfect for families, couples and even for people travelling alone. **This was an honest review by me after staying for 2 days**

The location of the hotel is just fabulous. Not only this, the staffs are very friendly and welcoming and so the driver of the tourist car. The driver will not leave you free until he will show you all the landmarks and there is no time limit of the driver, you can spend time at the destinations according to your like. Also the place is very poor in food and vegetation but still you can get tasty foods served on dinner and lunch. If you want to investigate the lifestyle of tribes in Purulia then this hotel is just for you, as it is located beside semi tribal area. And the ground of the hotel is so big that 4 cars can easily be parked.

Room is excellent. Need comfortable mattress on bed. Food and service are excellent as is behaviour of the staff. Little daughter of the manager reminded me of my grand-daughter. Excellent location as well. Should have a good Wi-Fi connection inside the room.

I stayed there with family for two nights and it's a decent place, but needs some improvement. Pros: - At the Ayodhya hill top, right on the main road. Everything you need, like restaurants etc are nearby. - Pet friendly stay, with fence all around - spacious room, with cupboards, hot water, sitting area etc - bathrooms were clean - caretaker was available all around. - value for money, there are other cheaper accommodations nearby but they don't have this much free open area. Cons: - Being on the main road and near population at times it's noisy. - The staff washroom was very close to our room and someone or the other was using it throughout the day and you will hear all sorts of clearing throat/nose sound - The path to the dining area and common washroom was right in front of the room and used not only by guests but few more people didn't understand their role in resort. The annoying part was occasional spitting while they walked the path. - Dining area was not kept tidy and again it was just next to the common washroom area.
