Hotel Jyonar Palace

I had a very bad experience with this hotel , I requested them to give me a room with a geyser or have hot water in the washroom , they said only a room with 1200 rs has a geyser . I upgraded my room from 800 to 1200 rs's room . But when , at 9 pm i go to check the hot water , it was warm . Then i call them through the room number and they are not picked up . There was a bell but i pressed it multiple times and they didn't respond . Then I went to the reception and asked him to check why the hot water was not coming . He said , I will check . But till 11 pm at night they are continuously saying that they turned on the geyser, go to your room and check after 15 min. It does not work. I was tired because of travel from district nanital to pithoragarh so i slept. Early in the morning i again told them to please turn or geyser or provide me hot water for the bath , they are saying that at night we turn on the geyser, but there is no hot water in the washroom. I even told them multiple times but they kept lying. That will come in 15 min .

During my initial stay, I decided to order dinner from the hotel's restaurant. To my pleasant surprise, the food was incredibly tasty. Each dish was prepared with care and attention to detail, making the dining experience a memorable one. Recently, I found myself in Pithoragarh again and needed a place for lunch. Remembering my positive experience at Hotel Jyonar Palace, I decided to revisit their restaurant, which is conveniently located on the ground floor of the hotel. Once again, I was not disappointed. The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere that is perfect for both lunch and dinner. The staff is attentive and courteous, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and well-served. The menu at the restaurant is diverse, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. The dishes are not only delicious but also reasonably priced, making it an excellent choice for both locals and visitors. The consistent quality of the food and service is a testament to the management's commitment to providing a top-notch dining experience. Atmosphere is very owsm and friendly lovrlh food and service

The worst ever hotel! Saw many flying cockroaches (Zero pest control) that almost killed me! I cannot give a 'zero', as rating, as it won't accept. So, I have to give a single star, just as grace. Others, such as untidy cupboards, filthy beds, attracting cockroaches and other pests, and to make it even worse, cigarette butts had been found lying on the floor. Only the location is ideal.

Hotel location is good. Market place in vicinity. Room is average. Cupboard is dirty, not cleaned properly. Bathroom is smelly, water logging issue. It can be improved though. Hotel owner and receptionist are too reserved. They don't want share local information about local travels to the traveler.

The food is okay..not too good...they take quite a lot of time to fetch your order..I would recommend other restaurants over it. At the restaurant, you will only have North Indian meal, some Chinese cuisine..no dosa or idli or continental or pizza.

There is no one to attend after 10PM. We were 4 people and booked 2 rooms and bedsheets were not clean, only 3 blankets were there. No one was attending the call, so we had to take a blanket by our own from other vacant room. Geyser was not functional in both the rooms. Rooms were also not good, bathrooms were also not upto mark. No toiletries, no towels.

Rooms were good but facilities were lacking (no hot water was provided). Located near Pithoragarh Fort. Good parking space for two & four wheelers . The hotel has an attached restaurant, which serves good food. Room service is also available.
