Rooms are not very well maintained. Geyser doesn't work for some rooms Very limited food options in the in-house kitchen. Staff members are very friendly and location is top notch.

One word which describe this place is "Peace". A very nice place to stay with friends and family surrounded by beautiful nature. Well maintained huts, ample parking space, open lawn to enjoy the evening. We had dinner and breakfast in the dining room, the taste was up to the mark for all kind of guests. |Amid the beautiful landscape and in front of tehri reservoir, this place is a must to explore.

This is not a tent house, it's a guest house/hotel with three Family Rooms and two delux rooms. There is a Banquet hall also for marriages and parties due to which Tents can also be fixed here. Let's talk about Location. It's on dead end of Block Road in Chamba at good height and good Himalayan View can be seen from here. Block Road is single road passing through market area due to which you may have to face a little congestion approaching here but not very tough. Rooms are spacious and in family rooms five to six person can also accommodate but bathroom is only one with each room. Rooms are well vantilated and have basic furniture, two double bed in family room and one in delux room. You must check the Geyser function properly as it may not work properly due to less used. TV is available only in Delux room and that's the second difference in family and delux rooms other than bed. Staff is decent and cooperative. Restaurant facility not available. Heaters are not available in Rooms so you have to arrange on your own if visiting in winters. Parking is available outside the property but seemingly safe.

This property by GMVN at Chamba at reasonable rates is connected to road via Block road with ample parking space. Family rooms are spacious & neat & clean. Staff is supportive. Mr. Ajay Manager is of friendly nature. Good option for family stay. Food can be ordered from outside. These are normal rooms not tent house

Certainly a tidy, beautiful place to stay, the rooms a very spacious and clean. The hotel staff was very polite and helpful. There's one small kitchen at this hotel and can prepare food based on your order. But don't expect a high luxury or compare service with star hotels. Its government run hotel, so its built from your money, hence be gentle on using the property.

Location: you can find it a little difficult to reach the spot but you'll definitely love it once you reach there. Rooms: specious, clean. Staffs: very welcoming and helpful. Food: Delicious and like home-cooked. View from room: From room no: 204 :- 180 degree view of mountain. Conclusion: you can not get any better stay than this within same budget.

To explore tehri dam and surrounding it can be best place. Situated on hilly side which offers some good views. It has got decent sized rooms and some of them got balcony attached so it makes stay even more memorable. ||||To explore India's largest Hydro project and surrounding recreational area this can be a safe choice without a doubt due to proximity and government run management. ||||They have got restaurant also which offers some good option in veg food.||||Apart from decent sized rooms even bathrooms are bit large and clean. Bed and linen was comfortable too.||||Service can be slow sometimes.||||Tariffs are quite reasonable too.

Great location. Good food. Good staff. Ample free parking. Large old style rooms. Needs renovation urgently. Not many tourists are coming here. Most who stay are govt officials. We were stuck in the hotel for two nights due to heavy rains & cold winds. Staff took good care of us.
