The Bugyal Kanatal

I'm writing this review to help others to explore a very peaceful and offbeat stay at beautiful Kanatal. |Ww reach there from Gurgaon from our car and the roads are very smooth and you can enjoy the nature at its best . |We reach there around 3.00PM, and park our car on the main road parking provided by The Bugyal only and from there adventure started, they took us and our luggage by the 4x4 safari jeep, as the location of the resort is on the mountain and it's way is totally ofroad and we lovvvvved it . |Everyone in the resort was so warm and helpful. |From our tent the view of Kedarnath range was breathtaking. It's a 180deg view and we were lucky to have a clear sky almost all 4 days . |The tent was so comfortable and warm, as the night temperature was - 7 deg. |The kitchen staff was so good they provided us with the best and tastiest food during our stay. |We were alone at the property during our time of stay but they cater us with the best. |We explore Surkanda Devi temple first day.|I will definitely recommended it as the view from the temple is 370deg and it's mesmerizing. |Next day we went to explore Tihri lake and this place is also a man made marvel. If you are into water sports you can definitely go for paraselling. We had our 7 years old son with us so we opted for speed boating and made some cool videos too. |In Kanatal there is a forest safari too. |Kaudiya forest safari and you can opt for forest walk too. |If you are looking for a late back trip and not in hurry go for it . |You can spend 2-3 days by just gazing the mountain view and watching the mountains changing it's colours with every angle of the sunrays. |We travel with our 7 years old son so we do things as per his comfort, but if you are traveling alone without kids you can explore more.

First the qualifier - This is my first ever review on any social media. And reason I had to come out and write about this place is the mesmerising beauty of The Bugyal (though one selfish part of me says that it should remain less explored to remain this pristine) |The place is just heavenly, amidst the lap of nature, with a view of the magnificent Himalayas.|Congratulations Sanjiv Ji for maintaining such beautiful balance with nature.|If one is looking a place for pure blissful nature, meditation get away, fresh air, positive energy, pure vegetarian food, relax and rejuvenate, this is the one.|The approach is through a trek but the jeeps are promptly made available by the property. For us, as we wanted to start back early, the driver stayed overnight in the property so he could be available at the designated time.|Deepa Ji , Vikrant ji and the local boys who support this property are very courteous, helpful, hospitable and attentive.| We were a small group of friends and family and we all felt that time should stand still so we could just be there for some more

Nice property away from hustle and bustle of the crowded city with panoramic Himalayan views. 4 star given to location only due to it is not accessible with your own 4x2 vehicle, else location is so prime, however they are providing pick and drop from Main road. overall very good option for family as well as group trip for 1 or 2 days.

Myself Dr vimal kaushal visited first time with my family to kanatal and stayed at Bugyal glamping after contacting the owner Mr Sanjeev Tyagi who is very good individual and our stay at bugyal was amazing as it's tranquility natural valley view inside forest area good food service and great hospitality by owner himself and Ms. Deepa sharma the manager...As guided by Mr Tyagi we also visited nearby Surkanda temple which is at 10000 feet height also enjoyed water sports at Tehri like parasailing jet skying speed boat with mesmerizing views of green water surrounding mountains having tehri floatable huts called Maldives of India...overall a must visit place The bugyal stay at kanatal with temp 8 to 20 degrees Celsius in April and my wife and 2 sons thoroughly enjoyed the bonfire arrangements and not to forget their warm beds giving cozy nights in cold outside...great experience and special thanks to Mr Tyagi and Ms Deepa for their unforgettable hospitality...Must visit place for nature and peaceful places lovers and would definitely like to visit kanatal and stay at bugyal resort in October this year...|Thanks |Dr vimal kaushal |CMO DGHS DELHI GOVT.

I loved my stay at The Bugyal, Kanatal. The place is calm, beautiful, and perfect for relaxing. The rooms are comfy and well-kept, the food is delicious, and the staff is friendly and attentive. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy nature and unwind. Highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway!

The property is well maintained & clean..Staff is so supportive & helpful..Food is awesome.. Best place for serene experience..Hidden gem in Kanatal..I highly recommend this place for people who love peaceful environment..Families & friends can have best time of their life here.

Its a paradise. Tucked away in the mountains. Taking down the less travelled bumpy road from the highway and you will reach heaven as this place is. Took my parents for a getaway and we didn't leave the place for 3 days. The location is serene as the majestic Himalayas shine throughout the morning sun. Deepa ji, the manager does her job impeccably. Vikrant ji is wonderful and very helpful as well. Staff is warm and friendly. Special mention- The Chef-- Timid fellow who makes delicious meals. You can taste his diligence in the food. Must try the Garhwali thali. Must visit place. Wish to return someday. Take your beverage and a book and get lost in the serenity of this place.
