THE MOUNT VALLEY

We stayed at The mount valley for one night & we had a very good experience. 1. Very close to Kathgodam railway station you can literally take a walk of 500 m pr take Auto for Rs. 50. 2. Good stafff & very humble. 3. Good food One more thing that really made me feel good was we reached 12 at midnight & we were hungry the hotel owner himself cooked for us bcoz their kitchen was closed. We slept with our stomach full ... something that is more than what we call hospitality

Good points - comfy, clean hotel near the train station. Bad points - wifi didn't work in our room and noisy late check ins woke me up and kept me awake - so I only had 3 hrs sleep before my train.

The service was very good the staff were very kind and polite and helped us with all the things needed food was good and reasonable overall a 10\10 experience.

Staff behaviour is brilliant.best main road location with affordable price rooms .Highly recommended

I have mixed reviews about this place and here are the pros and cons. Pros: It's very close to the Kathgodham railway station, and our train was delayed so the hotel staff offered to pick us up from the station in the night. The staff at the reception is courteous. They suggested us a plan to visit Kainchi dham and Nanitaal and also arranged for a driver. They also arranged for tea in the morning as per our liking. Cons: There are plastic wraps on the mattress and they don't remove that even after we told them, it was very uncomfortable to sleep as the plastic kept on making noise when we turned on the bed. They don't have a kitchen or proper utensils, so they don't make food in house. We had asked them to make maggi and the plates that it was served in was sticky and dirty. The rooms we got on the first day had poor door quality and cold air came in through the door and the entire night the door kept on making noise because of the wind. Not all rooms are as clean and big as the ones shown in the pics on the website. but the rooms shown on the website are available and are exactly the same- which is good. The next time we stayed there we got one of the rooms shown on the website and it was exactly the same and good. We had booked through the online channel the first time and towards the later part of our journey again decided to stay there as it is close to the train station (and we only needed to stay the night) so the second time we booked directly through them. They did not provide us toiletries stating that is only given for online booking. In short since this hotel is close to the railway station and if you have to stay for one night or a day, you can definitely book this hotel. I would recommend booking the bigger rooms. Don't expect food at the hotel, you'll only get tea as they don't have their own kitchen. Check with the reception about food and tea arrangements in advance. Opposite the hotel there is a place called White Orchids which serves good food so you can visit that. The staff is nice as they recommended us places to visit and eat.

I came kathgodam hospital but the washroom not clean , so then I found this hotel ( the Mount valley) and I asked for washroom . To unhone mujhe clean washroom use krne diya . The staff mamber was very good in this hotel.
