Hotel Silk

Recently visited this place after booking on makemytrip. The location was inaccessible against google Maps. I faced a Dirty Nallah and closed way leaded by google Maps. They tried to round other way which was a closed gate... Then tried to call them and they let me know where to visit from... It was already 1.5 km walking distance covered by me. the hotel area is so confined that even a electric auto or bike can't come during day time. Subsequently after reaching, came to know that they don't have mineral water bottle. They informed that they have RO water. Being so much thirsty after walikng so long, I couldn't control my thirst but didn't want to drink their RO WATER hence insisted me show their RO SYSTEM. after resisting twice, they showed me however it was in such a condition that I believed it to be nonfunctional. Room was not ventilated. Foul smell was faced by me after so long... Windows were not in open outside... But opened at a confined balcony. No lift.. Bathroom and washrooms were common for each floor.... Second day extension booking was cancelled by hotel without my permission. Owners and staffs are so BADTAMIZ kind that they said "jo kar mile kar lo par booking nahi doonga". On phone they ask for so much detail to let us know the room tariff.. When I said that hos these details are associated with your room tarifff... He rudely denied by saying that rooms are not available. Later on, when I booked by makemytrip, he denied my booking when I was travelling all along and visited hotel. It was 3 hrs of the time which I wasted after them. So much arrogance... I can't even believe. Such hotels must be barred.... Don't know how local authorities are allowing them to operate a hospitality business. Online platforms are helping them with fake reviews. Not recommended at all.. Chose ur own safety wisely.

Amazing place, stayed there for 1 night, cheap price, comfortable bed, clean room, very kind staff, I asked for water in the middle of the night and they gave me a bottle of filtered water. WiFi works great.

Very friendly staff, convenient place, spacious room at budget friendly price.... within walking distance from Haldwani railway station and bus stand.

Good hotel , nice and clean rooms with well behaved and very polite staff. Kitchen facility is also available. Walking distance from railway station.

Worst rooms. There are bugs roaming all over. And the bedsheets are not changed and neither are the pillow covers. I am leaving before check out

The stay was good. We reached the hotel at about 10.45 pm and had no difficulty in getting a warm meal as had been requested over phone from the train. The dealings of the men attending to us during the stay also deserve claps. The room was nice and clean, so was the attached washroom. But two things are to be remembered while selecting this hotel: first, though it is close to the Railway Station, its location doesn't permit cars to reach the gate between 8/8.30 am and 9 pm; and, secondly, the family rooms are all located in the second and third floors with no available elevator.

Location near by railway station and bus stand. Neat and clean rooms. Good Staff, nice behaviour.
