HOTEL GOLDEN LOTUS Varanasi

I stayed at Golden Lotus during my visit to Varanasi and had a pretty good experience overall. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. The location was convenient for exploring the city, and the atmosphere was pleasant. It's not a luxury stay, but it's definitely a comfortable and decent option if you're looking for a clean place with good service. I would recommend it for travelers who want a simple, hassle-free experience in Varanasi.

Golden Lotus is an excellent hotel with very specious rooms. The location and approach road is little concerning. Do not follow Google maps to reach the location as it goes through extreme narrow roads. Instead call the hotel before reaching there as there is a better alternative approach road to property. The food in the hotel was very good . The rooms are super clean and nice. Little far from Ghats and temple but if you are visiting with your own vehicle better to stay at this place and then visit temple. They will arrange the boat ride and taxi for you on your request.

We enjoyed our stay at the Golden Lotus. The hotel was a taxi/rickshaw ride away from the ghats however we enjoyed the journeys in and out each day. The area was quiet and safe, with the hotel next door to a shop which we didn't use, but seemed useful. The staff at the hotel were very helpful and accommodating, arranging transport, tours when requested. The food was also amazing - we ate at the hotel twice and really enjoyed the food.|Our hotel room was nice - spacious, comfy bed and decent shower (powerful and hot). We were on the ground floor next to reception so the room could be quite noisy but this didn't disturb us too much. Would visit again and would recommend to a friend!

Awesome place to be. The staffs are gentle and very helpful. The owner himself care for his client and give very beneficial advice about where to do Pooja and ensure that client is paying the proper price. The food is awesome and more importantly they prepare non spicy food. The room are clean up every day and the hotel always arranged transport for his client which are at reasonable price.

After having problems with our previous hotel reservation, we booked this hotel on the same day. The manager and staff were very kind and helpful, even upgraded us free of charge to a bigger room, which was a nice touch. Rooms are spacious and clean, for the price it's a bargain. It has a grocery shop with local prices right next to it, and breakfast, lunch and dinner menus, all fairly priced, and with good tasting food. Only downside is that the location is a bit further from the city center, however they can call you a tuk tuk at any time and it's approximately 15min from the center. Overall 5 stars experience

Simply Wow!My family and I stayed at this gorgeous place for over a week and enjoyed our stay. The owner, Mr. Abhinav Singh, personally takes care of every need of the tourists and goes the extra mile to make sure that the tourists are comfortable and are having a pleasant experience. The property is very immaculate, and all the famous places in Varanasi are nearby.Mr. Abhinav Singh helped us organize our amazing trip to Varanasi, and also our awesome journey to Ayodhya Dham and Vidhyavasini Dham Shaktipeeth. The staff and drivers are always willing to help with a pleasant smile on their faces, they all are very kind, cooperative, respectful and warm people.I recommend this Hotel Golden Lotus Varanasi to everyone. I am grateful to Mr. Singh, all the drivers and the staff. Many blessings to all.

A NIGHTMARE STAY - AVOID AT ALL COSTS! If I could give zero stars, I would. Golden Lotus in Varanasi was an absolute disaster from start to finish. Let's start with the fact that the approach road is a complete mess--navigating to the hotel felt like wandering through an endless, filthy maze. Not ideal when you're already exhausted from travel. We booked this hotel primarily for its proximity to visit Temples, but that was a joke. The location is inconvenient, making it more of a hassle than a convenience. Upon arrival, we were made to wait over 35 minutes just to check in, despite being visibly exhausted. The incompetence of the staff was astonishing. Their outdated, manual billing system felt like something out of the stone age--completely inefficient and frustrating. The rooms? Absolutely filthy. The menu cards were so dirty that touching them felt like a health hazard. The blankets had dead mosquitoes embedded in them, and to top it off, the sofas were piss-stained--yes, actual urine stains. Bathroom supplies? Barely there. Even basic hygiene was neglected. The food situation was just as abysmal. The overpriced menu served substandard, tasteless food. But the real kicker? A child-looking staff member brought our food after an unreasonable wait and then had the audacity to knock on our door 30 minutes later, urging us to eat quickly because the kitchen didn't have enough utensils to serve other guests! What kind of hotel runs out of basic cutlery? For all this nonsense, we were charged a mind-blowing 15,000 per night. Fifteen. Thousand. Rupees. For filth, rudeness, and incompetence. This place is an insult to hospitality, and I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. If you value your health, sanity, and money, STAY AWAY FROM GOLDEN LOTUS! We had some misunderstanding at first, we were there in a extremely busy time, but at the end we had a good stay in Varanasi. |We booked a family room with 2 beds and 2 bathrooms and balconies, kitchen and living room, it was perfect, quite clean, bright and big enough. |Food was very good even if there is a little bit of extra wait. |Staff helped us with booking tours and taxis and also giving advice on the city. |We met the owner with was very apprehensive and kind. |We might come back
