VIP Guest House

Initially I was super scared after seeing the reviews. However I took a leap of faith since i was hardly left with options while making the booking. The hotel is very comfortable considering the price point. The staff is super supportive and cooperative. The rooms were brand new since the renovation had recently happened. However few observations: 1. You have to pre order water hot since there is no attach water heater in the bathrooms. However water used to arrive in 10mins of ordering. 2 the room had no ventilation so had to keep the door open while sleeping which was risky 3 there is no lift had to climb 3 floors Still I would recommend it considering the price point and proximity to the main city market and amazing staff behaviour

We visited Prayagraj during the Mahakumbh and stayed at the VIP Guest house. We stayed at the 2nd floor as that had rooms with attached bathroom. The room size was adequate The first floor has rooms with shared bathroom What was best during our stay was the guidance provided by Anil ji to visit the Sangam. He patiently and lovingly guided us to gau ghat to take the boat for Sangam and we did not have to walk too much to get there unlike most of the people

Beware of This Fraud Hotel! This so-called hotel was a girls' hostel just five days ago, converted into a cheap hotel to scam Kumbh Mela devotees. The online photos are completely fake, and essential amenities like a geyser, fan, and housekeeping are nonexistent. The rooms smell awful, as they were recently painted. We booked a Super Deluxe room for 7,000 per night, yet had to fetch hot water in buckets from reception to the third floor--without a lift. There is just one guy managing all room service, so don't expect anything. On top of that, they provide metal "Khatiya" beds, the kind used in villages--imagine paying such a high amount for the service of a third-class hotel. The owners are cheap fraudsters and shameless scammers who prey on devotees, lying about the property to loot customers. Every guest we spoke to felt cheated. They charge 2,000 for extra bedding while failing to provide basic facilities. The location is horrible, in a congested area where only bikes operate, forcing guests to walk 2 km to reach Kumbh Nagvasuki Dwar. Avoid this hotel at all costs! There are far better options available upon arrival--don't let these crooks ruin your trip!

Worst Experience Ever - Thanks for Nothing, Goibibo! I booked this nightmare of a hotel through Goibibo, and I regret every second of it. They listed this place as if it was a decent stay, but in reality, it was filthy beyond belief. The room had nothing except a dirty bed and stained walls. No furniture, no comfort--just a disgusting space that felt abandoned. The biggest shock? No attached washroom! We had to use a public washroom, which was honestly the most unhygienic thing I've ever seen--smelly, broken, and completely unusable. And they charged 6000 for this garbage! What's worse, Goibibo refused to take responsibility. No refund, no help--just the worst customer support ever. If I had booked through MakeMyTrip, at least I'd have had some quality control and better service. Goibibo is just dumping random, unverified hotels on their platform without caring about customers. Avoid this hotel and avoid Goibibo unless you enjoy wasting money on nightmares!

It's a big fraud, I visited this hotel on 4th Feb early in the morning from Kolkata...faced problem to reach this property...poorly located I a small lane. Basic amenities were not there, bed was like we get in village called chowki in Hindi, no attach bath, common bathroom was very dirty after seeing this immediately we left this property as we have booked through Goibibo we informed them immediately but still monkey was not refunded.they charged 7000 per day... totally fraud

It is hyper inflated guest house. Poor quality rooms not with attached washrooms as shown in pics. It's like cheating with tourist.

Guys this hotel is fraud....Don't trust I infront of this guest house its so bad guesthouse They are very big fraud guys don't buy the room u will get scammmmmmmmm
