Had a wonderful stay at this homestay in Prayagraj. The family was incredibly warm and welcoming, always going extra mile to ensure a comfortable and hassle-free experience. The property was well-maintained, spotless, and provided a homely atmosphere. It's just around 300 meters from Arail Ghat made it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a peaceful stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent hospitality and a well-kept place to stay.

A Home Away from Home - Exceptional Hospitality at Ganesh Homestay I had the privilege of staying at Ganesh Homestay during the Mahakumbh on Mouni Amavasya (January 29, 2025), when Prayagraj witnessed a record-breaking crowd of 8 crore people. Given the overwhelming number of visitors, getting into the city itself was a major challenge. However, from the moment I booked my stay (just a week before this auspicious occasion), Mr. Vishal, the owner, went above and beyond to ensure that my journey was smooth and my pilgrimage was fulfilling. The homestay is located on the southern banks of the Yamuna in the serene village of Ariyal Ghat, just 300 meters from the boating point. This location is truly a blessing in disguise, offering breathtaking views of the Triveni Sangam while keeping you away from the chaos of the mainland. The northern banks were overcrowded and dusty, whereas this side provided a peaceful retreat. Vishal not only reassured me multiple times that I would be able to take the holy dip at the Sangam, but he also reserved a boat for us. Although boat services were temporarily suspended due to a stampede in the morning, he ensured that the moment they resumed, I got a seat--despite the massive crowd competing for access. His father, Mr. Pradeep Kumar, personally accompanied us to the river and into the boat, making sure that we could perform our rituals properly. The generosity of this family is unmatched. When we arrived at midnight, all vehicles were stopped 10 kilometers away from the city center. Vishal sent scooters to pick us up and bring us to the homestay--an extraordinary gesture that speaks volumes about their dedication to their guests. Ganesh Homestay isn't about luxury--it's about warmth, love, and true hospitality. You feel like you're staying with family rather than at a guest house. Vishal's mother prepared delicious home-cooked meals--soft rotis, flavorful dal, and fragrant chawal, which added to the homely experience. Even after Mouni Amavasya, they continued to help us in every way possible, arranging a taxi to Varanasi airport, offering a scooter for temple visits, and guiding us wherever needed. Unfortunately, due to the heavy crowd, we couldn't use the scooter, but we explored the major temples on foot on January 30. A special mention to Vishal's brother, Vicky, who helped us on the first day, and his friend Sagar, who also contributed to making our stay comfortable. If you are looking for an authentic, peaceful, and deeply caring place to stay near the Sangam, I highly recommend Ganesh Homestay. It's not just accommodation--it's an experience filled with kindness and unforgettable memories.

Beautiful homestay near Arail ghat with humble and warm hosts. Their hospitality made our Mahakumbh pilgrimage even more memorable. Would like to stay here again if I ever travel to Prayagraj. Thank you Vishalji and Kamalji!
