Hotel Sundaram

The property was decent but the rooms were not good. I booked a deluxe room. Room was not clean and maintenance was bad. TV was not working, leakage in taps, mosquitos, cockroaches, etc. Room service and staff were decent. Very polite to me. I saw mang other guests complaint the same things which I mentioned above. One guest complained that he was not provided even a mattress on time. Room service knocked at 1 am at night for the same. Such were the hiccups.

We paid a premium (more than 4 times) their normal nightly rate due to Kumbh. Regardless, the services provided were average at best. Basic amenities in the room were not provided in spite of repetitive requests, eg water bottles, extra pillow,toilet paper. Hot water is turned off in the late evening, and we had to take a shower at 10pm after a long day it was impossible. It is almost not possible to reach the reception line from the room.They will not answer or will hang up on you. The room condition was not upto the standards. Overall not clean, sheets pillows and especially towels were quite dirty. They even tried to charge me for the breakfast I had even though my room rate included breakfast. Also had other charges in the bill which were not mine during checkout which I had to get them reversed I suggest if there is an option please avoid staying here

Horrible rooms. Very rude receptionist who doesn't want to help . Not worth staying. Only advantage is it is on the railway station road. Food is good. Otherwise there are far better hotels in the area. Waste of money.

If possible I would like to give minus 5 star ratings Worst Experience Ever! Avoid This Place at All Costs! Everything from room service, Rooms, Restaurant ,food, cleanliness bathroom, Bedding ,you name it & the HOTEL SUNDRAM will be FIRST FROM THE BOTTOM... but on the pricing they are trying to beat 5 star hotels .Taking INR 7000 per night for a room. ITS EXTORTION DUE TO HEAVY RUSH OF MAHAKUMBH 2025.We are there on 7th FEB 2025. Due To EKADASDHI SNAN ON 8th Feb. 2025, THEY WERE ASKING FOR INR 12K -15K FROM OTHER PEOPLE.ITS PURE GREED & EXTORTION. AC Units: Pathetic! The remotes didn't work, NOT ABLE TO SWITH IT ON POWER MODE. TV : TV NOT WORKING Bathrooms: Disgusting! DIRTY! UNDER MAINTENCE??TOWEL RODS BROKEN..WASHBASIN BROKEN..WATER TAPS ARE NOT WORKING PROPERLY ..NOT MIXING THE WARM & OLD WATER.. ROOMS: SIPPAGE on WALL,UNBEARABLE STENCH OF IT DOOR LOCKS: BROKEN...NOT CLOSING PROPERLY..I got injured due the screws coming out of door lock Room Service: Intercom 444 ,not working to call for water on telephone dialing 444 its connecting but the room service operator not able to hear us. Restaurant : Lazy...6 teas & 6 butter sandwiches They took over 30 minutes also overpriced.. my review to HOTEL SUNDRAM ,that I will never book this place in future & advices all who are looking to visit PRAYAGRAJ please do the same.

Nothing to cheer for or to stay for. Avoid at any cost if their is no option then please stay. Two stars for one for the bed which was cozy enough to sleep and one star for the service of the room boy which was good enough other than that nothing to cheer for.

Worst Experience Ever! Avoid This Place at All Costs! We booked 10 rooms, expecting a comfortable stay, but what we got was nothing short of a nightmare. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill fast. Receptionist: Rude, unprofessional, and absolutely clueless. No proper welcome, no assistance, just plain indifference. Lift: only one lift There's only one lift for the entire building, and you have to wait forever for your turn. making the whole experience even more frustrating. Power Fluctuations: Constant power cuts ruined our stay. There was no backup or apology--just hours of sitting in the dark, sweating in the heat. AC Units:Pathetic! The remotes didn't work, and the AC itself seemed like it hadn't been serviced in years. Broken power connections and strange noises made it impossible to sleep, and the room reeked of some awful stench. Bathrooms: Disgusting! Under maintenance? More like completely neglected. Broken locks, broken walls, water stains everywhere. Hygiene standards are clearly non-existent here. This place is a joke, and it's clear they don't care about their guests. Don't waste your money or time!

Not recommended!! Staff is rude, location is far away from the Triveni sangam. My room was on 3rd floor, no hot water and no working lift

Unclean table and chairs. Torn chair cushion, very dirty. AC remote not working. Some Charger sockets not working. Bedding not tidy and clean.
