Hotel Golden Orchid

I rarely write reviews, but this experience compels me to speak up. Despite having my previous feedback removed, I feel it's important to share what happened--especially so others can make informed decisions. Our experience at this hotel was nothing short of horrendous. I've stayed in some of the best 5- to 7-star hotels around the world over the last 40 years, but I've never encountered someone as unprofessional and unethical as the General Manager, Mr. Sushant. His behavior was appalling, particularly toward women. He was aggressive, shouted at a female guest, and showed a complete lack of basic decency and hospitality. His demeanor was hostile and mentally unsettling. What shocked me most was his physical intimidation toward one of my guests--someone we had invited to help with room decoration for a post-reception stay, a plan approved in advance by Mr. Arjun Singh, the F&B Manager. Without any discussion, the GM threw the person out of the premises. One hotel guest who witnessed this even stepped in and urged the GM to calm down and speak respectfully, yet he continued his aggressive behavior and asked that guest to leave as well. We had booked a banquet hall and a hotel room after a positive experience dealing with Arjun Singh, who was courteous and professional throughout the planning. It's unfortunate that the final experience was so traumatic. The GM kept intruding into the banquet hall after the incident, showing no remorse or apology. Arjun later informed me that the owner would call and send a written apology. None of that ever happened. Instead, my honest review was deleted. The most disturbing part is the fear that this man creates--his body language, tone, and actions were threatening. It's alarming to imagine how far he might go. No one should have to endure such treatment, especially not at a place meant for celebration and comfort. To anyone considering hosting an event or staying here--please think twice. It's not the initial service you should worry about, but how the management behaves when things actually matter. If this had happened in any reputed corporate or 5-star property, the GM would've been terminated immediately. This experience left me deeply distressed and anxious. I regret choosing this venue and would never recommend it to anyone. Management like this is not just unprofessional--it's dangerous.

There are bug suzed flies, check out the pictures. TVs dont work. Not meant for business traveller's. Location is good, rooms are big, old property but well maintained. They don't have any restaurant, serves food at room only. Breakfast buffet is irregular, depending on guests only. Very limited spread even if for buffet. Food is average but pricey. They have multiple large banquest halls specially designed for marriage and other functions. They serve buffet in those halls only. Service is also limited.

Rooms: The rooms at the Golden Orchid are spacious, well-designed, and thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities. The decor reflects a blend of comfort and elegance, with cozy beds and quality linens that ensure a good night's sleep. Rooms also feature essentials like a minibar, ample storage, and a work desk. The cleanliness is notable, and the views from the windows (especially in higher-floor rooms) add to the pleasant experience. But I am very sad for this that is service is not good pls I request you to resolve the your service problem otherwise hotel is very good

I recently organized my engagement at Golden Orchid, and it was an exceptional experience. Everything was flawlessly managed, from the stunning decoration to the impeccable service. The decor added a magical touch to the celebration, creating a beautiful ambiance. The food was a highlight, receiving praise from all our guests for its delicious taste and variety. The staff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring that every detail was perfect. The venue itself is elegant and spacious, making it an ideal choice for special occasions. I highly recommend Golden Orchid for anyone looking to host a memorable event.

It's good to stay in, nice hotel and very good service, it's very easy to access the location.

The staff's behaviour is not good mainly the manager. He is very aggressive and does not understand the customer's requests. And the price is also very high.

Best place to host large events, decor is top of the class as well as the catering

Rooms are good and overall quite comfortable. Bathroom is also clean and tidy although for a 3 star hotel, full bathroom kit with disposable toothbrush & paste should also be provided. Service (in-room dining) is satisfactory. It's a value for money experience. I would recommend this place for a stay.
