Very good place for good time spent but some demons take control in sumer Singh qila so no roof entry allowed and no entry in qila

It's amazing place here to take a look. Hidden gem is this.

Staff standing out side the fort will not allow you to visit in side the fort. This fort located on the bank of Yamuna river. General cleanliness is so good. It is a small fort as compared to other forts. The panoramic view of Yamuna river and area adjacent is so beautiful. Many movies had been shoot out here.

Not available for the general public, but only on dm's permission, I stayed there for hosting the Etawah mahotsav but the built is spectacular

Very good location and place. It is an ancient fort built on mond near the bank of river Yamuna. The fort of Sumer Singh has been the pride of Etawah. Raja Sumer Singh was a famous king known for his bravery. . On this fort there was a Baradai, which had twelve doors, whose architecture was in such way that people get confused when they used to count because they get eleven or thirteen. This is an ancient architectural wonder in this district.Etawah, beins situated on the border line of their ill-defined "spheres of influence" remained for the most part a battle ground of the two contending armies. In 1400-1401 Mallu Iqbal Khan marched towards this region and was opposed by Rai Sumer Singh or Sabir of Etawah. Etawah, a very old district headquarter of Uttar Pradesh, located on Grand Trunk road on the banks of river Yamuna may be called the gateway to famous ravines of Yamuna and Chambal. The terrain beyond this city is undulating and tough. The site of this VVIP Guest House (Param Vishisht Atithi Grih) is situated on a barren mound on the bank of river Yamuna, having a view of the rugged landscape for miles and miles. The site had a fort at some point of time in history but with no ruins or remains except the name of the place, Raja Sumer Singh ka Qila (Fort of Raja Sumer Singh) and a high retaining wall to protect the mound. The terrain, the environment around, the name of the place, the panoramic view of ravines and the mighty retaining wall below collectively prompt and advocate a building that should look tough and rugged like a fort. Architect KK Asthana of Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam, Lucknow and his team thus decided to recreate the erstwhile fort of Raja Sumer Singh on this hilltop. Conscious efforts have been made to select the building materials in consonance with the theme. Black rough granite from Jhansi has been used in the exterior. Outer walls have been made in black granite masonry. The structural system is a normal framed RCC structure. Grand steps of guest room block have been finished in granite, while dining and conference block has white marble in flooring. Red sandstone has been used in landscaping and black Kadappa stone has been used for highlighting the solid plinth. Verry nice place in Etawah

Only for high personality...not for normal persons

Worst management and building ruining day by day as no maintenance. What's good and bad if public can't enter in the fort. I don't understand why we pay tax for such property which is enjoyment place for political people
