Chanakya Hotel's restaurant stands out as one of the few places in Etawah that serves decent food, which is commendable given the limited dining options in the area. However, there are several aspects that need improvement to truly enhance the dining experience. Firstly, while the food is decent overall, the so-called "South Indian" dishes are far from authentic. The flavors and preparation miss the mark completely, leaving those familiar with South Indian cuisine disappointed. It's clear that more attention needs to be given to the recipes and techniques to bring them closer to the originals. The service, unfortunately, is another letdown. The restaurant staff needs to be far more attentive to diners' needs. Delays and lack of responsiveness mar the experience, making it feel less welcoming than it should be. On the brighter side, the ambiance is passable--neither exceptional nor off-putting. It's an "okay" place to sit and have a meal, but it doesn't make a lasting impression. In conclusion, while Chanakya Hotel's restaurant has potential and serves as a decent option in Etawah, improvements in food authenticity, staff attentiveness, and overall service quality are crucial for it to rise above mediocrity.

firstly this hotel is poor as seen in pic and decoration also poor and tiles and etc i think not book the hotel and no attractive if u book an attractive and excited hotel so don't book this hotel but this is not very poor if u decided book for enjoying and an attractive hotel so dont book but if u book the hotel for few days and ya alright if u book the hotel for visit for few days so u can book but decoration but not very poor hotel this is depend on why you book the hotel so u get book the hotel

The function hall and rooms are in good condition but the staff is not supportive, especially the receptionist. Before booking, may please confirm everything and take from them in writing because verbally they will tell too much but in reality at the time of function they will deny everything except in writing. At that time you will not have any other options. I think you may check any other options for your special function like marriage.

Poor rooms, coolers having cigarette/ bidi smell. Bathroom drain was clogged. Staff did not co-operate. However, veg food was good

Food quality is consistently good.The owners r highly educated n cultured.This is the most professional hotel in Etawah District despite many new hotels and I expect more from them.
