HOTEL SHIKHAR, Etah

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! NEVER COMING BACK EVEN IN THE WORST SITUATION. Checked in during afternoon. The room looked average. it required some dusting so i requested same at the reception. Got off to work and came back during evening and found that the room floor had gotten covered with wood dust (wood work was being done on the floor) that had came from below the door, requested cleanup. The reception guy assured to send someone but NO ONE EVER TURNED UP. Apparently the cleaning guy had gone home and would only come next day. To add to this horror only one power outlet in the room was functional. There were a few mosquitoes in the room and the all-out machine was faulty. AND THERE WERE SMALL COCKROACHES IN THE ROOM. As it was late at night I somehow managed but hardly got few hours of sleep. They are charging a lot more for the service(ZERO) they provide. One could easily get a far better hotel room as the same price.

Food here is very good and also has a reasonable rate. In place like this you really have very less options and this is the best option at this location. Though the people that serve food here are not good at talking but the hotels has wide range of food variety and it tastes very good.

I stayed here when I first came to Etah. It has all basic amenities to make stay comfortable, although you need to call reception a few times to make things right but otherwise it's good. Recommended.

Rooms are good and very good cleanliness. Also it is connected to bus stop so one may not find transportation problems. Food quality is also good.

Hotel shikhar located in middle of the city and 50 m far from the roadways bus stand. The service of this hostel is good. Best hotel in between nearest hotels.
