Max Guest House Agra

We had the pleasure of staying at Max Guest House in Agra, and I must say, it was one of the most memorable stays we've had. The highlight of our experience was undoubtedly the owner, Mr. Shah, whose warm hospitality and genuine care for his guests made all the difference. From the moment we arrived, Shah went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of. He offered helpful tips for visiting the Taj Mahal and other local attractions, arranged transportation when needed, and was always available with a smile and a kind word. The guest house itself is clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. There's a lovely rooftop area where you can unwind after a day of sightseeing. What really sets Max Guest House apart is the personal touch. Shah treats every guest like family, and it's clear he takes great pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment. I left Agra not just with memories of the beautiful Taj Mahal, but also with a deep appreciation for the kindness and hospitality shown by Shah. Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Agra--you won't regret it!

We had a great stay! Max was incredibly friendly, easy to communicate with, and very accommodating. He arranged food and a taxi from Delhi, making our arrival smooth and hassle-free. The room was basic but had everything we needed. While we could hear some of the city's hustle and bustle, we still felt very comfortable. Overall, a great experience--we highly recommend it and would definitely come back!

We highly recommend staying at Max Guest House if you are travelling to Agra. Max, the host, speaks perfect English and is so helpful for anything you need! The rooms are very clean and he offers great home cooked meals at any time of day. It also has a lovely dining room/hang out area.

Very friendly and helpfull owner, we had an excellent stay. Speaks very good english. I recommend ever forgeiner in india when in agra to stay here to have a relaxed stay. We felt very safe and well taken care of in max's quest house.

It is all i wanted for a female solo travel in india. The host was so helpful to help me to checkin late at night with great communication. He also helped me with my heavy luggage and uber. The room was clean, warm and quiet. I had a good sleep there and feel so safe. It is just about 2km to taj mahal that is walkable to feel fresh air in agra. Highly recommend !

We booked this stay through AirBnb and we ended up loving this place Supportive host...and the area is very good as we get everything near by. V good and huge rooms. I strongly suggest this place for a wonderful stay at Agra.

Friendly Owner, that cares for his guests and gives them Tips about the area and the city. You can relax on the rooftop, and also eat a nice paneer curry made by his mum. It was very tasty.

Max Guest House is a lovely place to stay. The room is big, clean and the bathroom is perfect also. Max is really helpfull, he also organised my way back to Delhi by car which was good. I had a nice breakfast on the terrasse seeing monkeys outside. I do recommend Max and this home. Thank's again Max, i'll be back next time
