Hotel The Taj Vilas Agra

Room was spacious and big enough for 3 people. Food in restaurant is reasonably priced and tasty. Included breakfast was good with variety of options. Live omelette counter you can get omelet as per your taste. Staff very friendly and attentive.

I had a great experience staying at the Raj Vilas Hotel in Agra. The location is perfect -- very close to the Taj Mahal. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Mr. Arora, the hotel owner ensures that guests are comfortable, and the excellent treatment and attention to detail are highly appreciated in the hospitality industry. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Agra. I

We stayed here for 2 days in a delux room. The room was spacious and tidy. AC had a bad smell and mould ( shown in they pic), because of which both me and my husband got severe cold.The attached bathroom was clean,but there was a problem with hot water. We got only warm water which was difficult during cold weather. The complementary buffet breakfast was not good. Not much options were available. They don't know to cook South Indian food. Even idli was terrible.The staff were cordial and room service was good and quick. Overall the stay was pleasant except for the AC, hot water and breakfast part.

Room was not clean. Smelling cigarettes. Reception, and kitchen staffs are very nice. The main issue are the valet, they come to your room to deliver the suitcase and bug you and do not leave until you dont give them a tip. Not Recommended for when travelling with family. Photo on internet do not reflects real state of the hotel.

The toiletries of this hotel were extremely disappointing-cheap shampoo that leave my hair dry, soap that barely lathered and lotion that felt like water. The bodywash had an unpleasant chemical smell, making it unusable. For a hotel this standard, I expected much better quality.

Great location, affordable 3-4 star hotel I surely recommend this if you are on a budget trip it costed me 3200Rs for a night in March 2025 including breakfast. They have good parking space and decent breakfast menu, basically value for money

This is a non smoking hotel and the worst is that it's not mentioned at the reception desk. While booking the hotel, the manager don't inform too, neither ask about preference. We were about to get settled in the room & suddenly realised it's a non smoking property and when checked with manager, he blamed us for not asking while doing booking. This was insulting. At 11pm in the night we had to leave the hotel and looked for another one. Highly bad experience
