YHA Truleigh Hill

Nice location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities. Would definitely stay there again. Only minor gripe would be the lack of WiFi in the rooms. However, the bike storage definitely needs sorting out.

As always YHA is great value for money. We stayed in a pod. Super warm and cosy bedding. We did however feel the pod could have been cleaned more thoroughly as it was full of cobwebs. But apart from that we loved our stay!

So magical camping here. I feel like this is a well kept secret. The kind staff, the helpful service, the affordability, the tasty breakfast, the spectacular views. I felt very safe staying as a solo female traveller and will definitely return. I was able to work in the cafe and the staff were so kind and considerate as I had to stay up late for a deadline. When I wasn't working, staff and residents engaged in hearty conversation. Good humoured Sally, in particular, made me feel at home. You'd be hard pushed finding somewhere this beautiful, peaceful, clean and well run for the same price. I'm a proud member of the YHA after this incredible introduction to the organisation. If this is what the YHA is all about then I am an unofficial ambassador for the organisation!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at truliegh hill. The location is pretty far out the way but for the price it was bang on. Staff were great and very helpful too

I'm at the truly amazing and beautiful Truleigh Hill YHA. Such a wonderful, peaceful place to visit and stay. Set in the rolling hills of the South Downs with spectacular views of the sea, it has a lovely cafe and various accommodation. A must stop and/or stay for walkers and hikers.

Really lovely. Staff are wonderful and really helpful. We stayed in a camping pod which was spotless as were the bathrooms. Breakfast was delicious too. Lots of wonderful walks on the doorstep.

We had a great camping weekend at Truleigh Hill. Very friendly and helpful staff and lots of food options for coeliacs in the cafe.

Good location for a YHA. Well kept and friendly and helpful staff. Patchy WiFi but that's not the reason for coming to a YHA. Whilst the building itself is very 1960s the area around it is fantastic.
