It's a small lodge recently build very near to morning star church. No lift facility available.Rooms are neat and clean. Not very spacious but okay for 2 adult and a kid up to 10 year. Few double rooms are there with some space for extra bed but it's very tight then. Please check room before you pay so you can choose best fit room for you. Some rooms have no windows to open specialy room no 10. They have a big parking ground just opposite to lodge and it's gate closed at night for safety purpose. Caretaker michile will open parking gate if you need to go out by car. You will get one towel for each room and a water bottle. That's it , no glass also available. The room rate range between 1500 to 4000 , they have 4 suite room which have glass covered balcony. Check out 11 am. It's walkable distance to church. There few tea shops available near by. Best thing is this lodge is bit inside so vehicle sound or horn sound cannot disturb your sleep. And also bus travels agents are not taking here rooms for there guests so you saved from lot of loud sound of talking group of people in the midnight which I faced many other big lodges. I recommended for family group this hotel.

Disappointed and Shocked by the Service We had a terrible experience at this hotel. Despite paying an advance before arriving, the owner and caretaker were extremely rude and unprofessional. Upon our arrival, they went back on the agreed terms and demanded an additional amount. This left us feeling cheated and disrespected. The lack of honesty and basic courtesy from the staff made our stay deeply unpleasant. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stress-free and trustworthy experience.

Owner is a nice person, he has accepted to change the dates as we had to postpone our dates due to health issues. Rooms are very clean and beds are very soft to sleep. Near to morning star church. Room service, hot water are available and kettle will be given if asked. Our overall stay at vellankani was really comfortable and happy.

The room was clean and spacious also the staffs are very polite and helpful.The environment of the hotel was quite and pleasant enough for us to sleep peacefully.Will surely recommend for friends and family.

Had a comfortable stay.The people in the front desk was friendly and helpful any requirement was met immediately .We stayed in the suite room which was very spacious for our family .The room was really neat and clean .overall it was great experience .

We had a comfortable stay at Devies Inn.The hotel is easily accessible and walkable distance to the morning star church and Basilica of our lady of good health.The room and bathroom was clean and well maintained.
