The hotel is situated just next to a fish market ....the smell on arrival at the location ai not overwhelming. ..but once you reach inside the property everything was ok...decent room ...service on reception counter was late but helpfull enough....!! As a person from hospitality background. .is but not ok with the outlook of swimming pool but according to the in house occupant guest...it was ok...!! Not for goans atleast..but overall I had no complains....I would consider a second visit stay aswell for my next visit to Velankanni . ...!!

Best for family. Seperate place available to cook . Decent and budget friendly AC rooms to find in Velankanni. Unlike others they keep their word of you book during peek season too.

This was the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The room smelled terrible, the bed and sheets were stained, and the floor and toilet hadn't been cleaned. The hotel is located near a fish market, which adds to the unpleasant odor. There was no staff support throughout our stay.||The room's floor was covered in hair from previous guests, and I even found flower petals likely left behind by a female occupant. To make matters worse, I discovered a used condom wrapper in the cupboard.||The hotel charged 2800 per day, which is completely unjustified for the condition of the room. When I requested a change of the stained bedsheets, my request was ignored. We ended up checking out 14 hours earlier than planned.||I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Located near the fish market. So the approach to the hotel was very bad. No hot water connection in the washroom at all.

So I, just stayed at this hotel, and it was alright. The bed was super comfy, like sleeping on a cloud. But, gotta keep it real, the bathroom had some broken tiles, which was kinda sketchy. And yo, there were some unexpected guests in the form of cockroaches just casually roaming around - not cool. Also, the swimming pool was not that clean, which was a bit of a bummer. Overall, it was an okay stay, mainly thanks to that cozy bed. And speaking about the out doors just gotta say, this hotel had some rad sunshade huts and a sweet open ground for kicking it with some football or cricket. But yo, the real gem was Velankani's grotto - that spot was the highlight of the whole vibe. Overall, a cool place to enjoy the outdoors and soak in the chill vibes.

Lowest grade hotel with prostitutes hanging around at night. The location is behind the fish market so the place smells all day and night. AC rooms are infected with fungus over the windows and doors and full of pests including rats. There are gaps between the door and the wall of the bathroom so you can see the person taking a shower. The bathroom and the main doors do not even have a proper latch, forget about locking. You need a lock and key for the main door. The swimming pool is dirty and slimy and smells horrible. The owner is a horrible man who will take money in advance and not provide even basic services. No tea or coffee facility at the hotel, one has to go to the main road - through the smelly fish market and garbage dump to just have a cup of tea or coffee. Very unsafe and disgusting hotel. Perfect for alcoholics and druggies but not decent for respectable families

The hotel's location was perfect for my needs, with easy access to the city center and plenty of dining options nearby. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and stress-free, from helping with directions to making last-minute changes to my reservation. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Wilson to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and welcoming place to stay. The excellent service, comfortable rooms, and great location make it a standout in its class. Four stars, without a doubt!
