SRM Hotel, Trichy

Superb location and very good hotel. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast. I gave four stars to the room only because the air conditioning was bad which needs to be looked into. The sheets and mattress were top class, the towels though clean could have been changed since they looked too old. The swimming pool is a super attraction here. The hotel gives a very rustic feeling but I loved the vibe. WiFi also was very fast. I would certainly return back if they promise to look into the air conditioning situation.

The property is well suited if you need a good parking for your car, apart from this you would not enjoy an inch of the property. The property will look like an old Cottage which has been renewed recently.|Booking: You go through any website, the rate howers between 6500 - 7000 including tax. You call them for a booking, they will say today rate is 8800 + tax, but we can do it for 6500. |Check In: This was very smooth and it was completed in 15 minutes.|You walk in to the room, you are greeted with a Citrux Scent across the whole room. When enquired if it is a smoking room, the person says the whole hotel is non smoking and this smell is coming from AC. Who sprays Citrux fruit spray on AC. |The AC is always set at 25 degrees. In Trichy the outside temperature was 40. So if you need to cool the room quickly, you will want to get it down to 20 and the readjust it back. That provision is not allowed. So for the whole night from 8:00 pm till the next day morning 8:00 am, the temperature in the room was adjusted to 24 degrees. Just 2 degree drop.|Food: They have a buffet for 937 per pax. The buffet has 3 non veg dish, 4 veg dish, 6 cakes, one live counter for dosa, 3 salad. Salad is chicken and all non veg dish are chicken. No varities. ||I would suggest to explore other properties as it is far away from the city, no restuarants nearby and only a swimming pool for kids, which is also dirty. No restaurants in the property and only brand launches happen.

I stayed just 2 nights here. It is an old hotel. the facilities are so so. But things that make my stays here better is|| all the staff are friendly and always ready anytime to help and fulfill my needs. starting from security, concierge, front office, restaurant and housekeeping, all of them work very professionally. ||Special thanks to Elamaran who always make my room tidy & clean.

Very co-operative house keeping staff, especially Mr Maran. Willing to extend all possible help at a very short notice. We got instant support. The Buffet Square Cafe offers incredible variety of food .It us very close to the airport.|We will definitely recommend SRM Trichy to our friends. |Thanks for all the help!

It's a decent hotel for a few days stay...I was travelling for work with a big group. It is family friendly. The food spread on the breakfast and dinner buffet was also satisfactory. The facilities in the room can be better considering they are a 4 star , like providing shower gel in addition to the tiny bar soap, provide moisturizer etc. The service is good , sometimes though I heard the restaurant staff and supervisors involved in loud exchange of words at dinner. Maybe they can discuss inside the kitchen and not in the main dining area. The rest of the staff is helpful. Overall I had a good stay at SRM.

Room is spacious and cozy.|Veg meal was the best one. |Also the Cheesy pasta was too good.|Thirupathi served us really well.|The ambience is very nice, the painting of krishna every where creates a very good environment.|Hat's off to chef Gokul for making such beautiful food.|Really good staff.||Would like to visit her again!
