Grand Suites Srirangam

I had booked a few days before the actual stay for a single bedroom apartment as 3 of us were to travel and got confirmation of the booking. I specifically booked this place as it said parking was available. On the day of travel, i received calls from the property, following up on the booking and asking for a partial amount to be paid as advance, which was done immediately. When i reach the property, i see only a board and was not able to the find the accommodation. We called the person who had called us earlier to get the advance and he promptly reached where we were in a few minutes. Then he says that this is not the property and that he would take us there. We follow him for about half a kilometer to a new hotel where he stops and tells us this is their new property. However, the car has to be parked on the road. I wasn't too happy with this but didn't have any other option. Then he shows us a tiny room with a double cot and says we can adjust here. I then informed him that none of this was communicated to us even when an advance was demanded and charging Rs. 3800 for a tiny room without any amenities was absurd. Upon insisting that they provide a remedy, an extra bed with a pillow was hesitantly provided to us. We had to literally play tetris inside the room to adjust between the 3 of us to stay the night. Upon our insistence once again, they reduced the price to Rs. 3,000/- Hospitality survives on being considerate. This is not the way to provide hospitality, especially to tourists who are coming for a temple visit. It is unfortunate that no communication is provided while booking or even while asking for an advance. While the room provided was brand new, the entire process was misleading as what was booked, was not provided.

The reception in this photo is not true. Room is very poor condition. beds are not clean. I was surprised to see this reception photo. Bathroom are not very neat. I went on dec 2024 the reception work was still going on but the photo is shown as completed.

Very neat and tidy rooms at a prominent location. Reasonable price for a family trip, as the rooms are so big and comfortable. We had a pleasant experience staying here. Please keep up your good work!

Room is good , neat and comfortable on an average . Cost seems to be bit priced for the room they provide. And Service was not at all satisfied. All the service staff was not responsive. They were sleeping and we found difficulty to contact .

The rooms are neat and tidy, restroom cleanliness is maintained too. It was a comfortable stay here. They provide kettle if needed which was quite an advantage as we needed it for our baby. Service is appreciable. Located very close to the temple.

Great hotel for the price! Clean rooms ! Basic facilities are in quality condition , including AC , heater fan , lights and power sockets! Clean bed ! Toothpaste, soaps, shampoo, towels available in the room ! As a solo traveller! It meets all my needs ! Bed was huge , enough for 3 people! Location was a bit inside! But good if you need to be near the temple complex! Highly recommended! I was disappointed that there were no windows in my room !!

We had visited recently srirangam temple and stayed this hotel which is near to temple just walkable distance. It is really at prime location and suitable for Family. They will have limited rooms but they maintain in neat and clean way. We had a great experience. You will not find food to eat therr but you can manage at temple surroundings because which is walkable distance.

Enjoyed staying in this hotel.. Hospitality was good. Got a hot water jug on request. Geyser available.. Room well maintained with many power charging/switch points mainly near the bedside, which is well thought of and is the highlight of the hotel..
