Arangan kudil

Zero cleanliness. Had lizard droppings everywhere. It was right there on the blanket provided. Bedsheets were very dirty. Room stunk badly. God knows when the Sheets were changed last.

Close 20 of us stayed in Arangan Kudil last week. The rooms were maintained very well. Property is kept clean. The house keeping and check-in during odd hours were taken care without delays. Staff are very courteous and ever ready to help. Overall very good experience.

This place is very close to Srirangam temple. Apart from that , everything else is worse. You will find many good homestays like this near the temple. The rooms were very dirty. The bedsheets weren't changed. The pillow covers and blankets had traces of hair and other stains. There was dust all over. The bathrooms are so small and dirty. Please don't book this place. No soap, towel or water is given. The worst place I have ever stayed in.

Last week(Tuesday) we booked this hotel in Agoda for a stay on Saturday. The Agoda price for the whole apartment(2BHK) was Rs.2,800. We reached the hotel on Saturday and enquired at the hotel about our stay. They said that they don't have that whole apartment, instead take 1 room and 1 hall for Rs.2,500. Actually they had the whole apartment, but they used their STRATEGY and played some RUBBISH GAME and said this story. We wanted room for 5 adults and 2 kids, how is that possible for us to stay in 1 bedroom and 1 hall? So we argued and then they accepted for giving the whole apartment, but for Rs 3,500. They used the STRATEGY that at the end we'll accept whatever they say, as it was 10pm. At last we accepted for Rs 3,500 and stayed in that DIRTIEST HOTEL. What is the point of booking in AGODA in prior? Service was not good. ROOMS were very very DIRTY. BEDS were very DIRTY. BATHROOMS were very DIRTY and the taps didn't WORK PROPERLY. NEVER BOOK THIS HOTEL. They are using people's PAIN into ADVANTAGE. They know, at that time we'll not get any other rooms and played a STRATEGY GAME.

The hotel was not good . The Service is very poor they didn't help us to bring our bags up. Only the lift is good but the rooms are not hygienic and clean . The bathrooms are Very small we can't even bath. They Don't even have basic sink and even there were many lizards. The room boys didn't help us and they were asking tips . Totally I fell it is not good

I'll share the positives first. 1. The proximity to the temple. It'll hardly take 5 minutes in a vehicle to reach the temple. 2. The flexibility. For the ungodly hour at which we reached this place and given our check out time, other hotels charged me for 2 days. They did not even budge but Arangan Kudil was an exception. Of course I had to pay extra. I was given the room for 2800 with the split up being 1800 for 1 day and 1000 extra for their flexibility in giving us the room. 3. The mattress was comfortable and the AC did it's job perfectly. 4. There's an empty space opposite to the rooms where cars can be parked. I'm not sure how long that space would be empty or if it's owned by the same person who also owns this place. Negatives: 1. What even is this room and the restroom was our first reaction. It was definitely small for a family of 4 adults. Of course there was a sofa and a couple of extra mattress but there was no place to put those mattress. The small restroom was such an eyesore. The restroom and the potty were clean no doubt, but the place was so small and God only knows, for some reason, there was a very bad and pungent smell that just didn't go despite using room fresheners and deos. 2. Water bottles are not free of cost, though they have water cans on each level which are dirty. 3. I saw a lizard and a couple of cockroaches running in and out of the AC. 4. There are no eateries or shops atleast for 500 meters on either side of the hotel. 5. There was no service provided but we were asked for tips by the person in charge there stating room boy tips. I was tired to argue and dished out some money. But there was literally nothing that he did for us to pay him money, even if was a paltry sum.

A Good place to stay. Neat and clean service apartment. You have a TV, a sofa, and an A/C on all the rooms. Do check it out when you plan to visit srirangam or anywhere nearby.

Rooms and wash room is very small. There is no facility even for tea even for getting auto u need to walk. Blanket mattress were below standard.
