Regency Tiruttani by GRT Hotels

I had a disturbing experience at Thiruttani GRT Hotel, a 3-star hotel. I arrived on my two-wheeler, dressed in jeans and a shirt. As I entered the main gate, I noticed the watchman's grin and sensed judgment just because I wasn't arriving in a car. To my surprise, there was no designated bike parking inside. Still, I parked and proceeded towards the hotel lobby. As I walked in, a Hotel Manager (as he said) came running toward me, questioning aggressively, "Who are you? Where are you going?" -- solely based on my appearance. This blatant discrimination infuriated me. I confronted them, and soon 3-4 management staff gathered to offer their apologies. But the damage was done. I told them, "Am I a dog to be treated like this just because I'm not wearing a blazer? Should I buy a car before stepping into your hotel? Who gave you the right to judge guests like this?" After calming down, I had dinner inside. The restaurant staff behaved professionally, but the hypocrisy was evident. It made me realize -- they have set invisible standards about who deserves to dine here. Is this the hospitality industry we are proud of? Is discrimination based on appearance and vehicle acceptable? The food, by the way, was very average -- certainly not living up to the facade they put up. While leaving, I told the same watchman, "Don't expect people to buy a car before coming here. If a local like me is discriminated against, imagine how outsiders would feel." He apologized, but the experience was deeply disturbing. I regret not recording it all -- but this incident must be called out. #Discrimination #HospitalityFail #CustomerExperience

On 11th March around 1pm I called the hotel to check on food availability, person of the phone informed that the last order on the kitchen will be at 930pm and the restaurant will be closed at 10pm. I aksed them to share the menu card, and in the menu card, it was mentioned that the restaurant will be open till 10-30pm. I called once again & asked the same person regarding the restaurant closure time, as we were to reach the hotel at around 9-15pm, the person firmly said the Restuarant shall be closed at 10pm, as they have planned fumigation program, and when we requested to provide food at 10-30pm, he informed firmly that it is impossible to consider our request. On arrival at 9pm, at the reception, as were checking in, the person informed to have food ASAP, as the last order on kitchen will be at 9-30 & the restaurant shall be closed at 10pm. We again requested to provide food at 10-30pm, which was firmly denied. Here the question is are we paying or this property doing charity? What kind of hospitality business is this???

Plesantly surprised with their room size as this was our 1st visit to Tirutani and we as a family drove down from Blre to Tirutani to pay our prayers to Lord Muruga. Proximity towards temple was about 15min from this hotel. Good & courteous staff and food was reasonably good. We did extend out stay by a day and had good time as a family.

I recently stayed at GRT Residency, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. The hotel rooms were spacious, immaculately clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What really stood out was the excellent service. Jagapathi from Housekeeping was incredibly attentive, ensuring that our room was always in perfect condition. Additionally, Vasu from the culinary team went above and beyond to fulfill our requests, making our dining experience special. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel at home throughout our stay. The breakfast spread was delightful, and overall, the attention to detail and hospitality was top-notch. I highly recommend GRT Residency for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay. I'll definitely be returning

Realy Nice Experience. One thing is missing Swimming pool.||But Oveall Clean Spaceous room. 2nd Good thing Hotel is on the way to Tirupati and they Separated Veg and Non Veg Resutrant whicis good thing to divoti Who came to stay.Huge Parking space.

It is the best place to stay in Tiruttani. Lots of parking, kind staff. The Murugan temple is only 15 mins away. The room has ECO friendly amenities, the bedding and pillows are comfortable. Food in the restaurant and in room are fresh and tasty.

check in was hassle free, friendly and helpful staff, Room was spacious, dinner was good, breakfast could have been better in terms of fresh and hot food being kept on the buffet counter , location is on the outskirts of temple town on the highway. Bellboy service needs to improve.

This is the only good hotel in thiruthani. The hotel is considered the 3rd level of Grt group. Cannot expect 5star like Grt Chennai.Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms can be more clean. No other better hotel then this in thiruthani. Breakfast is ok
