Hotel Royal stay

If you want a 4 star hotel in 2 star price, then don't think twice. Very nice hotel with latest gadgets like door camera, latest modular cabinets big room if you book suite room. There is also a electrical recliner sofa which is rare . Massage chair available at 200 for 20 mins, which is very good

This is the second time we stayed at Royal Stay, Thanjavur. First of all it's conveniently located in the center of city yet at a very calm area. The ambience and cleanliness is something outstanding I would say. Well trained staff with humbleness. Finally a great value for money.

The room was okay and the location is fine, nothing too extraordinary but overall good when compared to other stays in India. However, staff was very rude and tried to scam us by asking for 400 rupees for every two hours beyond 6.30 am on our checkout date (??). The reasoning was that we checked in early on arrival. Honest hotels would, at most, ask for extra charge for early check in on the spot. Waiting until check out was foul play

Will never suggest this place to anyone. We booked a room 3 weeks prior. We again called and confirmed before 2 days. The guy we talked to confirmed that the room is booked. When we reached, they told us that they are fully booked and they cannot give us a room. But we found our name written down in a piece of paper with date of booking. They couldn't arrange anything for us.There were other people also in the same situation like us. This is the first time we are facing such irresponsible behaviour from a hotel.

Our stay here was for a night. We ( two women) checked in at 9.30 am. Since it was a week night ,there were zero check-ins at that point of time. The manager at duty led us to our room (supposedly ). With his master card he opened an occupied room !! The inmate was in the shower. The manager casually says 'oh this is occupied not yours' . He then checked us in another room. The room was not cleaned. We had to wait and so the staff did a rushed job. The corridor had vessels lying in which leftover food etc .That was stinking . The room was stinking and bathroom was dirty. The linen - musty. We were given a room upgrade to a bigger room and this was manageable. At night , 9.30pm we heard a lot of commotion in the corridor. We assumed other guests our checking in. One guest tried to open the door of our room with his card and he was struggling with the handle . On calling the front desk, they said sorry ,by mistake. SO, again a goof up!. The new guest was given wrong room number . At 12 am, our door was knocked few times and knob was being handled . We again called the front desk ..again a casual response. There was no attempt from the staff to come and assure that everything is safe . The master card access if not used responsibly can be unsafe for the guests. Overall a very bad experience. We did not feel safe at this hotel . Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very nice hotel. Good ambience and comfortable stay . Staff were helpfull and listening to our concern.

Great response by hotel staff for requests and prompt customer service. Rooms were tidy and service was efficient. Overall great place to stay

The rooms are spacious, and looks neat and descent, staff are cordial and friendly, jaya and Peter are doing an excellent customer service, I would recommend this hotel. Stayed here during pre- Christmas time-2024
