Selvamurugan Residency

This is my first time reviewing a hotel because I feel others should be aware of the situation with hotels in Rameshwaram. I called to book a room at Selvamurugan Residency, and they quoted 4,000 for a non-AC room and 5,000 for an AC room. Considering the high price, I expected a good and pleasant stay, but it turned out to be a shocking experience. The rooms are worth less than 1,000, but they are exploiting the temple crowd. I've attached my receipt and photos of the hotel room. I also spoke with other guests, and they paid 1,000 for 12 hours--similar to my stay, which was quite frustrating. I strongly recommend that pilgrims plan their stay well in advance, read hotel reviews carefully, or visit Rameshwaram, inspect the rooms in person, and choose a hotel accordingly.

Worst hotel experience till date. Rooms are not properly cleaned. There is centepedes crawling on the wall. The rooms cost too high. The rooms are looking old and not painted. The washroom is not good. Even locks are not properly working.

Even toilets are better than this rooms Waste of Money Worst experience ever Ac is not working

Worst hotel stay I have ever seen in my whole life , no cleanliness , no good service , rude behaviour they are ignoring us if we call them they are cutting out call

U can stay a small setup near rameshwaram temple there's not much facilities but staffs are very cooperative

Okay rooms to stay and visit the temple. Do not expect something very awesome

We were just cheated by them. Online rates and their offline booking rates were totally different. They don't have proper electricity for whole day . They cut electricity for more than 4 hours out of 8 hour stay . They don't provide fresh bedsheets or fresh and dry mats near bathrooms. We requested them several times and yet they don't give any response. The manager person is main culprit here, he would act like he doesn't understand you and will not respond to any of your queries or complaints. i have called several times but he didn't response . when we ask for proper electricity their staff came and talk very rudely .Their staff have an attitude problem. They are ready to fight also . even they ask to leave the room as early as possible during afternoon itself at 3 P.M . Their staff have Pathetic behavior, very greedy, unkind and hopeless people I have ever met in my life. Would like to give zero star for service and rooms. The rooms are all having seepage problems and will horribly smell. Very unworthy of a Google review but people must be know about this place is horrible . I have to leave the city during afternoon itself because of them only . very bad experience
