We booked a family room for six people as the quad rooms (suitable for four persons) were unavailable. The room was spacious and decent in terms of facilities, but the overall cleanliness left a lot to be desired. For example, we noticed dust bags piled up near the staircase, which was unpleasant. When we raised this issue with the receptionist, we were informed that the maintenance staff was unavailable that day. The complimentary morning breakfast was acceptable, but nothing exceptional. However, the dinner buffet priced at 250 per person felt completely overpriced and not worth the cost, given the quality and overall experience. While the stay was manageable, the lack of cleanliness and the unjustifiable dinner pricing make it hard to recommend unless improvements are made.

This is a great budget-friendly option for anyone visiting Rameswaram. The room and toilet were clean, and the service was excellent. There's plenty of parking space available, and the restaurant offers a complimentary breakfast. The property has separate dormitory and hotel blocks, which is a nice touch. Highly recommended! One suggestion for the hotel management: it would be helpful to place a floor mat outside the washroom to keep the room from getting messy.

I recently stayed at Hotel Aalayam Rameshwaram (Yatri Nivas) and had a great experience. First, make sure to inform your driver that this is a state-operated hotel, not the one reserved for central government employees, to avoid confusion. The breakfast is top-notch, offering a buffet with idli, vada, pongal, and halwa, all of which were fresh and delicious. Some reviews mentioned bugs, but I did not face any such issue. In fact, the room was clean and well-maintained. One of the best parts of my stay was the exceptional service (11/10)--I just had to make one call, and everything I needed (like an extra towel or pillow) was delivered immediately. The TV and geyser were both fully operational, which made my stay even more comfortable. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit far from the temple, and autos charge 100 per side. However, there is ample parking space if you're coming by car. Overall, this is a great budget-friendly stay with excellent service, a good breakfast, and all the necessary amenities. Highly recommended!

I had a perfect stay at Hotel Aalayam in Rameshwaram. The hotel is conveniently located close to the Ramanathaswamy Temple and other key attractions. The rooms were clean, spacious, and equipped with essential amenities. The staff was friendly, and the vegetarian meals served were delicious. This hotel doesn't take any bookings. Please do not make payments online. Website link, which appears in google search is total fraud. I have lost 2000 falling for this. Do not loose money paying online. It's a total scam. If someone reading this has already been cheated? Please do write a review here and contribute to creating awareness. What seems strange is, this is going on for more than a month now and no action has been taken to stop this crime neither by the original hotel staff nor by the local police authorities.

Nice place, a huge room in suit, it 2 BHK room, with AC in all rooms and clean washroom in both the rooms. Cosy rooms, neat and clean beds. TV and sofa available in the common room. Attached balcony in all the rooms A big area to travel, have canteen for lunch, brkfst and dinner. Nice people in canteen and reception who assist in settling in the city
