HOTEL MAARIS

All types of South Indian food available.Food quality is good but taste is requires some attention. About lodging,the rooms and facilities are quite good but the service provided by the management is less. Regarding bar, not much varieties of drinks available but the environment is good. Price is little bit high.

Stayed for couple of days at the hotel - Room was Okay however the toilet flush was not working . T.V bore a terrible view and was changed unwillingly upon request .||||Hot water facility mentioned in pamphlet and website is not available. We requested hot water on the first day as old people will find difficulty during cold season.It was bluntly refused by the room service attendants saying "it runs on solar power" but we got it on the second day saying it can be provided - don't know how.||||Worst part - Toilet flush was not working and we were not even asked / hinted to change the room. Requested again to rectify the fault - someone came (no proper technician / plumber was assigned) and worked on it just because they have to act on the request.It was still the same,we go to cope with that and manually flush the toilet.||||Hotel doesn't have the pristine look as in website / pictures and it is dilapidated condition for which their staff always have an excuse that "Work is in progress". ||||Neighbouring halls, aisle leading to rooms is very untidy and always have cigarette smoke odour emanating from the bar.||||Rates are pretty high for this hotel and they charge a premium for ROOM SERVICE (bringing coffee,news paper ) which is pathetic considering that it nowhere near luxury class. (They also expect you pay tips after you get the printed bill).||||Don't get swayed by the website publication or by calling the hotel staff. Certainly doesn't have the luxurious / royal class as indicated.||||Please do your home work .

Hotel Maaris is located about 1.5 km from the Pudukkottai bus station and about 3 km from Pudukkottai railway station. The sleep quality and the hospitality were good. The complimentary South Indian breakfast was exceptional. To sum it up, it was a worthy stay.

Worst service. Do not go. Every thing we have to ask. Front staff is in experience. Rates are very high. In restarent no hospitality. I will not recommend for any body.

Rooms are not maintained well. Car parking is on main road, so expect lot of dusts. Hotel provides breakfast as complimentary.

Good hotel to stay in pudukkottai. We get good food here. Need to improve on maintenance.

The worst stay ever. Bed bugs, lack of service, rude staff and many more. Combo of useless service.
