SRI KRISHNA RESIDENCY

We booked a room with "booking.com" and get positive confirmation from the host. When we tried to check in, we got really unpleasent information, that this place is not allowed for foreigners, and in India is not allowed to rent a room to foreigners. Strange that since I visit India, I had never a problem like this. This information we got on our check in. So, if you are not from India, you are not allowed and not welcomed to stay there. Don't worry, there are many places around with signs "rooms available" mutch nicer places. I belive in Karma, everything turns back...

We have actually here for the first day in ooty as we had check in at 12pm but due to journey from wayanad and visited few places on the way and reached at 3pm and called owner to provide the room we have booked.He made us wait for an hour and didn't come to spot and was rude behaviour on phone .He has given our booked to some one else and was like illa guru he was like first come first serve we don't see even if it is booked.Due to his tone we thought of not staying there and it's too inside and no place for car parking and everywhere bikes are parked.I don't recommend this place because behaviour is not good means u don't feel like staying there.There are many stay,cottages,resort. I was afraid of getting rooms so I booked before with option book now pay later.So u will get many people asking whether u want rooms or not in the month of December I visited, I have no idea in the rest of the months.I hope u will get any of the stays available so plan accordingly.Atleast he could have asked prebooked customer before giving it for some one.I totally suggest people not to visit this residency .....,

Sree Krishna Residency in Ooty its cleanliness, comfort, and value for money. Guests particularly appreciate the staff's helpfulness and the hotel's convenient location near Ooty's center, making it suitable for families and travelers looking for a central stay.

My suggestion is don't visit this residency..... We paid high for that small room.... Not even maintained properly , you can get hot water only from 6 to 8 am....even no availability of drinking water in room. Not worth for the amount. We paid 4k for 1.5 days . There is no proper arrangements but they will ask us to pay in the right time....

The room was so stinking no proper ventilation and dirty walls windows not a gud properly..

Mr. Kiran is everything in Sri Krishna Residency. He is great person with Great character with due respect to all. This is a highly recommended place to stay when you are in Ooty . It's located in Central Ooty and everything you get in 2-3 minutes walk. All near and access to view points are closer! Room service was awesome n highly appreciated!! .. Clean rooms , respectful employees !! Especially Mr. Kiran Try this stay please, no one will regret for sure!! Thanks

Not recommended at all, dirty room and bathroom, bedsheet, blanket and towel are filthy.

It is a quiet place and still not far from the main road. The manager waited for me. Check-in procedure was straightforward. The room was okay with a balcony in front. Wifi worked well after initially I was told there was no connection. The place was kept clean. Facilities such as the hot shower worked well. Warn them for use after 9PM. There is drinking water in the hall and boiling water is available at the reception.||The direct vicinity of the hotel is rather derelict. Perhaps some fresh paint would help to make the residency look better.
