*Extortionate Rates and Appalling Experience at Nagas In Hotel* I had the misfortune of staying at Nagas In Hotel, located at the Karnataka-Tamilnadu border, and my experience was nothing short of disastrous. The room rate was 2800/- per night, but I only needed the room for a quick freshen-up, which lasted a mere 3 hours. To my shock, I was charged a whopping 2000/- for this brief stay. This blatant overcharging is unacceptable and feels like extortion. The management's greed and lack of transparency are appalling. But the issues didn't stop there. The restaurant at Nagas In Hotel is one of the worst I've had the misfortune of dining at. The food was stale, tasteless, and overpriced. The service was slow and unfriendly, with staff seeming completely disinterested in attending to customers. The hotel's amenities and cleanliness were also subpar. The room was small, cramped, and poorly maintained, with broken fixtures and dirty linens. Overall, my experience at Nagas In Hotel was a nightmare. The exorbitant rates, terrible restaurant, and substandard amenities make it a place to avoid at all costs. *Lowlights:* - Extortionate room rates - Poorly maintained rooms - Terrible restaurant with stale and tasteless food - Slow and unfriendly service - Unacceptable cleanliness standards

Good for one night stay. The room was good. Not sure why they had put the white towel as a bathroom floor mat. Housekeeping has to be improved. Try to negotiate the cost.

We stopped for breakfast instead of Murugan Idly, which was overcrowded. No regrets, the idly, dosa and Pongal our usual breakfast did not disappoint. Instead of waiting for overrated places. This is best.

Only problem is the entrance to this hotel is too steep with around 14 steps without side rails. Difficult to climb to the reception. Else there is lift from reception to 3rd floor. Please make rails support for the entrance step.

We stopped for breakfast but there were almost no items available. First of all they had only 4 items mentioned as breakfast items in their menu and in that also they had only poori and plain dosa. Taste was Ok ok but very slow service. I would recommend that you better avoid this resturant while travelling on Bengaluru - salem route.

The only positive thing about this hotel is the location, being very accessible near the toll gate, I was lured into a trap. These guys don't know the basics of hospitality. I had booked a one night stay which cost in excess of 3000 rupees. I had to opt for an early check in because the bus that I travelled in reached early. For that they charged 1500 rupees extra. Before even handling our luggage, they made a tired guest who just did an overnight bus journey pay the full amount, which was a whopping 5k plus for a single night considering the average amenities in the room. Only after payment, they even bothered to touch our luggage. I was very cooperative with them through this whole ordeal. Later a personal situation arose due to which I had to check out on the same evening (without spending the night). I politely asked them whether they can refund atleast the extra 1500 they took for the early check in and also pointed out the fact that most properties make you pay at check out. They outright refused to entertain any refund. For a stay of just 12 hours without spending the night in the hotel they had charged us 5000+ rupees, which is the equivalent of a 2 night stay. The staffs excuse was that it was out of their hand and that it was the managements decision. Whoever is behind this, it is a pathetic state of affairs. They are just fleecing the customer. I made the mistake of going for this hotel because of it's location. There are many other properties nearby in which you can walk in and make a booking on the spot who are not hell bent on fleecing you. Don't make the mistake of going for Naga's who are thoroughly unprofessional. Update: They handled the issue well during checkout. They gave us a complimentary dinner and assured that the same issue won't repeat again even though I did not get the refund and the dinner bill is not worth the 1500 extra I paid. Nevertheless, the effort taken by them in providing a small relief to us was good. Hope they update their policies and become more customer friendly. The staff were very warm in their approach throughout, even when I escalated this issue with them. They seemed helpless to resolve my problem. The problem was possibly in their system.

Nice and safe hotel near Krishnagiri toll.

Had breakfast at this new restaurant. Very yummy breakfast. Both veg and nonveg options are available, must try. Rooms are neat and clean. Good location, just after Krishnagiri tool.
