COASTAL GRAND RESORT - KOTAGIRI

The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning, and the scenic drive there was a real treat. Breakfast was decent too, which was a nice start to the day. Number of items were less in breakfast but whatever items were available were decent . Unfortunately, the stay didn't live up to expectations. The service was pretty disorganized, and there was no manager available to sort things out. Our room had maintenance issues--walls were peeling--and there weren't any amenities besides the view. There was a weird drain smell from the toilet .I also asked for a cup of tea early in the morning, but was told to make it myself with the kettle, which felt a bit off. Young boys manning the place were friendly but that's about it. Overall, great view but not worth the hassle.

Perfectly located resort which is surrounded by tea plantations with peaceful atmosphere. We stayed here in family suite for two days and it was excellent and peaceful. All staff were courteous and helpful. Food served by in house restaurant was delicious with reasonable price. Highly recommended for family stays.

We had a great time at the resort. The balcony view was nice, the food felt homemade, and the staffs were very friendly. Our stay was comfortable.

Absolutely horrible experience..Will start with the bed, it's not even queen size with kid not able to sleep at all . They had initially charged for extra bed when asked about the size of the bed they cancelled that amount. No cook was available and hotel guys had not informed us about that until we called them just before checkin and the place is absolutely remote so there are no restaurants at least at a distance of 20 mins travel. They had ordered good for lunch and it was horrible. The room next to utensil cleaning area is absolutely horrible as they don't clean the vessels on-time and with small kids we had we could not even come out of the rooms it was stinking that bad (I forgot to the pics to share it here). Place is actually in a good location but definitely in a very poor maintained condition, management have to seriously look into this. Service was ok nothing against staff. Sorry but I have to say this!

Totally opposite to the good reviews in Google. Literally the worst experience ever !! Not worth the money. Despite booking the stay few days before the stay and arriving two hours late than the expected check in time, its too much outskirts and not worth paying 7000 per night. Poor hospitality staffs are too slow in work and room service. Breakfast which is complimentary is worst as compared to the price which is demanded. Not recommend for honeymoon couples. Only one things is good which is the view which can be experience for 2-3 hrs . Too much issues with housefly Bed is not proper Lack of housekeeping items Room service very slow Staffs are good communication issue poor breakfast quality no in house dining not worth to pay 7000

One of the most beautiful and majestic view resorts a must-visit place I had a peaceful and relaxing stay. Special thanks to Lijo, who took great care of everything and guided me well. The staff were courteous and offered good service. The only area of improvement would be the breakfast. Other than that, it's totally worth it.

We had a wonderful experience at this resort, nestled in a peaceful location. The rooms were immaculately maintained, and the service was top-notch. Special thanks to Lizo and Praveen (Kothagiri resort staffs)for their exceptional hospitality and service, which truly shone through despite the remote location. We also appreciated the opportunity to visit nearby tea factories with the resort's support. A big thank you to Mr. Vinoth, General Manager, for his outstanding coordination and support throughout our stay.

Despite booking the stay few days before the stay and arriving two hours late than the expected check in time,we were provided a room where only the bedspread has been changed after the previous guest vacated. very unacceptable hospitality and room service ...not even informed about the breakfast timing , the reception and room service dial numbers ,etc unclean towels food particles littered by the previous guest not sweeper and cleaned used water bottles by the previous guest was not changed with the new ones toiletries and room slippers were not provided initially...got it only after insisting very unclean rooms and balcony despite asking them to sweep no driver accommodation very nicely located property with breathtaking views from the room ....... But with poor service and hospitality
