MUST VISIT PLACE... ONE and Only Villa which has the most beautiful view...this place was a present for the eyes!! Rooms - Room were good!!Spring mattress were relaxing and sleeps was good! Fresh bedspread and pillow!! The property owner was Really very Sweet... they guided us,also helped to book cab for return!! And they hold some world records that Can be seen in reception Cons - You need to book cab to reach and go out back to city..!! This place is in hill and away from city So no Restaurant nearby!! But the property provide some limited food stuffs[VERY DELICIOUS] and Swiggy zomato are available!!

An absolutely amazing stay! The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained. The caretaker and the owner were incredibly humble and made sure we felt at home. The view from the balcony was nothing short of heavenly, offering a perfect escape into nature. The campfire experience added a special touch to our trip, and the food was delicious. I had an unforgettable stay at Syamantac Villa - my first solo trip turned into a truly heartwarming experience, thanks to the incredible hospitality of Ms. Girija and Mr. Raja. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel completely at home, and to my surprise, they even celebrated my birthday! The thoughtfulness and warmth they showed will stay with me for a lifetime. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the Chicken 65 and traditional breakfast items like semiya and idly, all wonderfully prepared by Mr. Basu. The villa is absolutely beautiful with stunning views from the balcony that leave you in awe, peaceful surroundings, and great amenities that make you feel both relaxed and pampered. Whether you're traveling solo, with a partner, or as a family, this place is a perfect getaway. Highly recommended! I can't wait to return.

Syamantac Villa is a hidden gem in Kodaikanal! We stayed here for 2 nights with our family of 6 and had an amazing experience. The villa has 3 separate rooms for 2 sharing, ground floor for a family of 8 to 10 members and on the top roof a spacious area for couples and individuals Highlights: - Scenic Views: Breathtaking views from the balcony, especially during early morning and late night. - Food: Delicious homemade food cooked based on our preferences (just 5 hours' notice required). - Friendly Staff: Caretaker Mr. Basu is polite, helpful, and speaks multiple languages. - Owners: Mr. Raja and Mrs. Girija are humble and make you feel at home. - Nature Lovers' Paradise: Surrounded by plants, garden, and nature. - Pet-Friendly: A fun and friendly dog on the premises names BUDDY! Tips: - Off-Road Access: Good driving skills required to reach the villa (500m off-road). - Parking: Park outside on the road. Amenities: - Free Wi-Fi (BSNL and Jio work well) - Basic toiletries and bath towels - Campfire with greenery - Food on prior notice. - Online food delivery available to that location. Overall: Syamantac Villa is perfect for families and nature lovers. The owners' love for nature and animals is evident throughout the property. We received a succulent plant and fresh vegetables from their garden as a gift! Highly recommended.

Girija Auntie, Uncle, and Basu Bhaiya are hands down the best hosts in Kodaikanal. My grandmother and I visited for two days and we felt as though we had joined their little family. Auntie is a kind soul who will go above and beyond to make you feel at home in their beautiful homestay, which has a breathtaking view of the Western Ghats. Basu is a talented chef -- he makes excellent Indo-Chinese and South Indian food! He also makes a lovely cup of coffee. Visit Kodai, stay at Syamantac!!
