Thappa Gardens Resort

Our wedding guests had a pleasant stay at Thappa Gardens. The property is nicely spread out, offering a peaceful and spacious environment. The rooms are large and comfortable, adding to the overall relaxing experience. The bar is a highlight, with a great atmosphere and the added bonus of four complimentary snacks, which all of them really enjoyed. However, one area that could use improvement is the maintenance of the common toilets near the bar. Keeping them cleaner and more well-maintained would greatly enhance the overall experience. Overall, a nice spot with potential to be even better with a bit more attention to detail in upkeep.

Ambience seems to be welcoming but the taste and quality of the food that we have ordered was worst to the core. Being a hospitality host in Chettinad area which is mainly known for the food, serving this sort of worst tasting and quality food is very disappointing. I feel, they should take a step to provide good quality and taste food.

It was a trip arranged to Karaikkudi for koil visit. We planned to stay this time in Thappa Gardens near Ariyakkudi. A calm place it looks. Check in and other formalities didn't take much time. We finished our lunch and took rest the whole day. The Resort stay was breezy and there was a light shower in the night. It made the surroundings so cool and the greenery was chill and pleasant. Rooms were very spacious and the roof was so high with wall hangings and the furniture were antique and well maintained. Bath room was neat and clean. The only set back was room service. They provide complimentary breakfast and it was so authentic in Chettinad style. We have a swimming pool also. The wooden chess table was gigantic and attractive where we could spend some interesting time. A cool walk around the Resort in the morning was enjoyable. Enough parking space is there. In short the stay was unforgettable.

Absolutely disappointing experience. We waited over an hour just for the starters to arrive, which ruined the mood of the meal. Despite reminding the staff three times for a simple request like hot water, it was never served. The service was beyond terrible, showing a complete lack of professionalism and care for customers. Definitely won't be returning.

The internet connectivity was unstable, which posed challenges for work-related tasks. For those seeking a tranquil getaway, Thappa Gardens Resort offers a serene environment with quality accommodations. However, for business travelers requiring reliable internet access, it may present some challenges.

1. Rooms are Ok, you have cockroach roaming all the room 2. Breakfast limited. They ll do sort of live counter. So if ppl more than 5 you have to wait a lot

This was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. It took over an hour just to serve the starters, which is unacceptable. We requested some hot water and had to remind the staff three times, yet it never arrived. The service was shockingly poor, with no sense of urgency or attention to customer needs. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
