Hotel Sea Land

Hotel was comfortable and homey. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were friendly and cordial. Bathroom was clean with the necessary amenities like hot water, shower and exhaust fan but water drained a bit slow and so the floor was wet always. One major drawback is the hotel had no car parking in it's premise.

It was a good experience in a hotel sealand I booked a non AC double room. The room was neat and clean, and the staff were friendly. This is near to the sea and budget friendly. I don't know about parking because I went by public transport. No separate heater in the room and hot water comes in the tap (very little hot) it may be a problem in winter time.

Since our preferred place was not available, we picked Hotel Sea Land based on the reviews. But, unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. They had promised us parking at the premise. But, we realized there is not enough space to park and it was dangerous to park at the available space since it was almost on the road. East Car street is a very busy street dotted with small to medium size hotels and restaurants with so much vehicle and people movement round the clock. So, we had to park the car at an empty plot around 800 meters away and return to the hotel on a motor cycle driven by a hotel staff. Just being on a busy street, the place is quite noisy and if you're sensitive to noise you'll have hard time sleeping peacefully if you get a road facing room. The Air conditioning in the room given to us was set to the lowest temperature level (unintentionally, I suppose) and they could not correct/change the same. So, we had to request them to switch off the AC since it was freezing inside. There were many visitors in the form of baby cockroaches. Since our daughter was wary of cockroaches we had a hard time convincing her to retire and get some sleep. As somebody else mentioned, the pillows were extremely hard and for people who are used to softer pillows, it will be difficult to rest on them. The two positives were (1) the staff who were very courteous and supportive trying hard to make us comfortable, and (2) hotel terrace from where we can watch the sunrise, oceans and the memorials. We had a great stay at this hotel, especially with both elderly family members and kids. The room was clean, spacious, and offered all the basic amenities like air conditioning, a TV, and free Wi-Fi. It was a good value within price range, providing comfort without breaking the bank. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our stay even more pleasant. The hotel is also well-located with excellent sea view , with two good restaurants next door and just a short walk to the Kanyakumari Temple, which was very convenient for us. Overall, a great choice for a family-friendly stay at an affordable price.

Amazing place, nice ppl. Very helpful. Location is so good that you have all the touristy ppaces in walkable distance. Sunrise point is 500nts and temple is too. Need to take auto for 3.3km for sunset point.

Poor organization and bad reception service. We are the big group with tour agent booking on line.they have not preserve room for us ,also the manager who is on service are unreliable, he told us four beds room but insincerely give us 2 double beds for 4 ppls . And also give just only one key for 4 persons when I come back , asking for an extra key to open room earlier who couldn't found and help me open. Poor hotel ,they have Only one master key for 1 room and 2 bottles water for 4 persons Totally I don't recommend this hotel for everybody

Had a very memorable stay here. You can blindly opt for this hotel because there is nothing to worry about. The property is very well managed. Neat and clean rooms in properly managed settings. The Sunrise point is just behind the hotel. The roof gets open at 5 AM and you can enjoy the beautiful sunrise very clearly without moving anywhere else. The staff are very hesitant to accept money online therefore ensure cash with you. This place does not have any restaurant therefore you have to arrange your own food that too before 10.00 PM as the Market gets closed very early. Every famous place is just walking distance from the hotel.
