Hotel Samudra

Hotel Samudra is a great place to stay in Kanyakumari. The location is excellent with easy access to Kanyakumari Amman Temple and the Sunrise View Point just a short walk to the left. If you walk towards the right, you'll reach the ferry terminal for Vivekananda Rock and Thiruvalluvar Statue. The bedding is comfortable, and the ambience is pleasant and welcoming. The bathroom is standard but clean, which is appreciated. Though the pricing is on the slightly higher side, the convenience and overall experience make it worth it. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a stay close to all the main attractions in Kanyakumari!

The location is superb...everything within 3min walk. Views from their sea view room are stunning. The hotel is located right next to the sunrise spot on Kanyakumari...so you can view it from the room itself. If you stay here...ask for Room 606. Best room in the hotel for views. Room and bathroom were clean but basic. Upkeep wasn't that great. Layout of bathroom was weird with taking a shower meant the whole bathroom would be wet. They do have hot water. AC worked fine. It is okay for a 1N stay smack in the centre of it all. No F&B...but have a few eating places right across.

Great location--just a short walk to the boating area. The view of Vivekananda Rock from the room is amazing. Rooms are clean and spacious, and the staff is very polite and helpful. Highly recommend for a comfortable stay.

Wonderful location with the added bonus of free parking. Although the property is a bit old, its prime location more than makes up for it. All major attractions are within walking distance, which made our stay very convenient and enjoyable. We had a sea-facing room, and waking up to the beautiful sunrise right from our window was truly a highlight of the trip."

I am delighted to share my recent visit to Kanyakumari and my excellent decision to stay at Samudra Hotel. I would like to highlight an exceptional instance of the hotel's hospitality. We accidentally left our spectacles in the hotel room, and the staff promptly contacted us, obtained our address, and sent the spectacles to our home. This level of service is unparalleled in my experience. The hotel is conveniently located within 200 meters of the Vivekananda Rock Memorial starting point and the Sri Kanniyakumari Amman Temple. Additionally, it offers ample parking space for four-wheelers.

Had a pleasant stay at Hotel Samudra. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Vivekananda Rock Memorial and other major attractions in Kanyakumari. We chose the Glass Bridge View Room, and it was worth it -- the room was clean, well-maintained, and offered a great view. The staff were courteous and provided good service throughout our stay.

The check in and check out is smooth, we requested for early check in but because of room availability they couldn't able to arrange . Sanjay and bhanu help in check in and checkout is appreciable. They helped us in arranging cab to railway station. Overall the seaview room is good . The dining area is seperate and this hotel is well located neat to beach , boating area and temple
