Hotel GGT Grand

Stayed here due to forest check post closed during night hours. Located on the main road and just at the end of gudalur town and hence safe. Decent rooms with clean beds. No lift. Hot water for bathing will be available from morning 6am. Hot water for drinking available 24hrs.

We stayed here for a night cause we couldn't do a night journey. Checked in, rooms looked clean and all but the air conditioning was faulty. During checkout the receptionist was rude and was arguing about prices. Nonetheless, if you want a nice hotel during your stay in Gudalur, consider some other nice hotels.

Nice,budget hotel on the way from madumalai to GUDLUR. Staffs are also very cooperative. Though the reception manager was not very much proficient in English he made every effort to help me.The room was a value for money. They don't serve breakfast here and I am not very sure about lunch and dinner. For breakfast they guided me to a nearby hotel by the name of HOTEL VENUS which was really nice.

Excellent lodge for backpackers. The lodge is situated at a prime location which is busy with traffic most of the time. The cleanliness is really commendable and everything is well maintained. The person at the reception Mr. Veeran is really helpful with all the needs. This lodge can be preferred if you are planning for a trip to Ooty, Massinagudi, Bandipur etc. Good thing I noticed is that this is the one among the few lodges which have car parking space.

Good rooms well cleaned and maintained.double cot bed room and etra bed also providing with inr 200 and room rent INR 800 (without extra bed) bath towels and soap they will provide and hot water will be available only morning around 6am to 7am. It is located near to the gudalur bus station so good location everything is near by

One of the very few decent hotels, in Rs. 1000 per double room Non- A/C with Gudalur main town. Basic needs are met..convenient to stay for a night, site seeing, buy some spices in nearby wholesale spots and pack up. No attached restaurant and limited parking.

A fairly basic hotel on a noisy road, just down from the bus garage.||||The bedding was clean. The room was OK but nothing great. Needs better sound insulation. ||Reservation made on-line without problems.||||Definitely a place for earplugs. even then the temple music from adjacent temple, which started at 5am, is unbearably loud, and you won't sleep through it. ||||The smell from the drains in the bathroom is very strong.||||Didn't see anywhere more promising in Gudalur, but as could not recommend GGT grand, would look elsewhere for a more peaceful nights sleep.

Good budget hotel in Gudalur on NH. Round the clock hot water supply and well maintaining rooms. Great view from the hotel. Furnitures and bedsheets might change which are looks old. Minimum parking facility
