Worst Experience - Avoid This Hotel! I booked through Goibibo, but the room given was filthy and nothing like the photos. The manager was rude and tried to force us to stay in that dirty room. My family suffered in an unknown city, and we had to leave without staying. Total scam - Goibibo should delist this place!

Not only is this one of the most scenic places to stay in Coonoor. You are looked after by the most kind-hearted, lovely woman. She is an incredible cook and very friendly. The rooms are clean and beautiful, warm beds and warm showers. It is a peaceful and serene escape from town.

It's a amazing place at the peak of mountain.. early morning view is awesome...and service is also good

My stay at the charming cottage was nothing short of delightful. Tucked away in the middle of the mountains, it offered the ideal diversion from the rush of the cities. Cozy and immaculate, the cottage has everything you needed for a nice stay. Its appeal was enhanced by the rustic yet contemporary decor, which produced a cozy and welcoming ambiance. The home made food was really delicious. The cottage provided breathtaking views of the countryside and was situated in a lovely area. I was able to relax and take in the splendour of nature in this calm and beautiful haven. The hosts made sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay and were very kind and attentive. I felt completely at home thanks to the friendliness, and also yummy foods which gave the encounter a more intimate touch.

Aruvi Cottage is not worth the stay. The bathroom heater is not functioning, the food quality is subpar, and the service leaves much to be desired.

Good place and good service but this place is very isolated from the coonoor and the roads are not good. But the view is worth it.

The location is so lovely..can't wish for more..but the road is too dangerous and hence, the driver must be very experienced. Room is okay but on the day we arrived, there was no power and hence no water for a day and night. It was hectic to fulfill our basic needs too. I called the owner atleast 25 times but he didn't pick the call and the service boys were helpless. And the food they cook is too costly as they charged 600 rupees for 6 omelettes. Those were the costliest omelettes I had in my entire life. So basically if you are looking for a beautiful mountain view stay, go there..but remember the points I mentioned.

My stay at Aruvi cottage was truly exciting and quite definately managed to capture the essence of Coonoor. The cottage is located at the heart of Coonoor right next to a beautiful tea estate, providing a great view from the cottage. The rooms were sufficient for a comfortable stay, as the hygiene quality was more than decent. Although, the bunk beds in our room weren't of good quality, since the top bed wasn't very stable. Overall the rooms were a 4. The food quality was variable from each dish, but the aloo parathas and idlis were really great made good meals. The accessibility of the hotel was quite an adventure, since there were multiple forks on the road which even Google maps wasn't able help us navigate through. The environment was great as I stated earlier, and we even had a stroll through the roads which led to the estates.
