Excellent , Fantastic , Superb Home stay close to the temple. Clean rooms with AC , free Wifi ,fridge , fans, clean toilets, geyser, hygenic kitchen with utensils.The host and attendants are very friendly , helpful and gave us more than we asked for during our one day stay in March 2025. Tea, sugar, coffe powder were available. Fresh milk was given one in the morning and one in night. Mr Senthil is really a fatherly figure. Being a Professor , he explained us about CDM temple in detail because of which we could see the entire temple in short time without missing anything. He even arranged auto to us for Mangrove visit and drop back at Railway station early morning at 2 am. I very strongly recommend this home stay for all.

Very modest accommodation, part of the host's house. All essentials such as AC, TV, geyser etc provided. Reasonably clean. But apply some cream as in the evening, there is a swarm of mosquitoes. Location is superb as the temple is at very much walkable distance. For the price, value for money if you are staying only a night for temple visit. Prof. Poonkundran is a fantastic host.

We had a pleasant stay at Senthil Agam Home Stay. The owner's hospitality was excellent. Even before arrival he shared the pooja timings of Chidambaram Temple and a list of nearby places to visit which was very helpful. The check in and check out timing we requested was different from the standard ones but he was accommodating and flexible. Additionally the location is a major plus Chidambaram temple is within walking distance. Overall a good experience.

Very good option for homely stay at Chidambaram. We were given inputs on different temples, good restaurants & places to visit around. Quick kitchen & washing machine is very helpful for visitors kids & elder members. Bathroom maintenance could be better, though it was not a major concern.

A great place to stay with family. The owner's valuable information will help you a lot for Nataraja darshanam. The rooms are not like high class hotel rooms but you will feel homely. Looking from the Safety side it is excellent.

Mr.Poonkundran sir, is very hospitable, kind and down-to-earth person who heartwarmingly welcomed 8 of us and had amazing experience in their home. Sir guided us in detail about the temple, darshan, places to go around and also vegetarian hotels worth trying. The place is secured.Mr.poonkundran sir and their staff are available on call round the clock. All basic amenities are available. Fully Functional kitchen was additional advantage for us. Their rooms are neatly organized with partitions and clean. Best Budget friendly place to stay in chidambaram. Its an ideal stay for Family. Location: Its walkable from both south Gopuram and west gopuram. Auto and buses are easily accessible. We were extremely happy to stay and we would love to visit again!!!
