Anantya By The Lake

Anantya By The Lake is an awesome & mind blowing place. I was there with my family on 17th April 2025 & left on 18th. My wife & daughters were thrilled with the out of the world experience and didn't want to leave the place. The place is a picturesque spot with a cinemascope canvass view surrounded "By The Lake", mountains and the green surroundings. At Anantya, we felt like being in a paradise on earth. The privacy and ambience gave a feeling of relax and calmness beyond words.||The cottages & landscape are designed so beautifully & aesthetically. The architectural charm easily blends with the landscape designs. The open bathrooms are a class apart with their unique style merging nature and fish ponds with rustically designed mud walls. The architectural elegance is exceptional. The maintenance of such facilities, of course, must be really expensive & costly. ||Once being there, no body can forget the heavenly experience.|| The food was great & excellent. The chef should be one among the best. The staff were courteous & truly helpful. Mr Vinod (Restaurant) needs special mention. The only sad & diappointing thing for me & my family , was leaving the place. ||

We stayed at Anantya by the lake for the weekend and had an absolutely delightful stay! The property is beautiful! Our villa was overlooking the chittar lake and the views were breathtaking! All the staff at the resort were so attentive and friendly. Special mention to Mr. Vinod at the restaurant who was so polite and helpful and went out of his way to make us feel comfortable:) housekeeping staff Ms.Shailaja -also did a great job. Loved the private jacuzzi which was part of our villa! Special mention on the evening tea and snacks that was offered to us on the house. The tour to the rubber plantation part of the property was also lovely! We got to see how the rubber was tapped and the photo op at the Nest was sweet :) overall We loved our stay here!

My stay at Anantya Resorts was truly refreshing a perfect blend of nature, comfort, and thoughtful hospitality.Every meal was a delight, with a variety of well-balanced dishes that catered to different tastes. From the tranquil lake views to the peaceful surroundings, everything felt like a much-needed escape. One detail that really stood out to me was the inclusion of period pads in the toiletries, it was a rare find and was thoughtful. Highly recommend this beautiful place for anyone looking to unwind in nature with all the right comforts taken care of.

A resort by the lake, that offers a serene environment to have a silent getaway. The rooms were comfortable, and the view of the lake was mesmerising. The facilities in the resort are enough to keep you occupied for 2-3 days. The swimming pool was maintained properly. The fish feeding is a must try for kids, they will love it. The food service could be improved. We had opted for the meal plan, however it wasn't a buffet and we had to select a number of items from the menu, which means we could have ordered them alacarte. This is something that should be mentioned when we select the meal plan. Apart from this, it was an amazing experience.

Anantya by the Lake offers a calm, scenic retreat with comfortable rooms and stunning views. The food was fresh and flavorful, especially the local dishes. A lovely touch was the thoughtful inclusion of sanitary pads and women's essentials in the room -- a small but meaningful gesture. Overall, a relaxing stay with great hospitality.

The choice for our honeymoon. We booked Sadhana Pool villa for 3 nights here and we were absolutely happy with our decision. Right from the smooth check in to hospitality at the property was to notch. The food was lipsmacking and sumptuous. Evenings are very pleasant. They arranged candle light dinner at the lake side that was also very thoughtful. We would recommend this Paradise to all who seek for peaceful and enjoyable stay.

Nice property, okay ambience, but over priced. The food was average at best, again over priced (no other decent food places anywhere near). Reception is a busy place for check-in and check-out. If the price comes down around 40% for stay and food, then it should be a good place for one night stay and relaxation. Otherwise neat rooms, gorgeous toilets, nice evening views of the dam reservoir (beware of mosquito attack if you stay outside after dark).

One of the best resorts i have been to in terms of location (excluding 5 star). Rooms are a bit pricey for the amenities being offered though. Food was above average, but could be better. Would recommend adding some traditional desserts especially. Also please add fans to the porch area so that guests can sit outside while enjoying the view without feeling too hot. Over all service was excellent and staff were very friendly. I also went for a massage in house which was advertised as 1 hour, but was more like 40mins only which was a disappointment.
