Kandy Rivers Edge Nature Resort

We had a great experience by staying at this resort which is located close to the river Mahaweli. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The manager lady was also very friendly and she offered dinner and breakfast for us according to our necessity. The charge was also very reasonable and fair.

We had a great stay here, stayed for 3 nights. Staff is very friendly. It's about 15-20 min with a tuk tuk to Downton Kandy, will cost about 400-500 lkr. The rooms are spacious and clean. Bathrooms are good too. Great place if you want to stay in Kandy but a bit from all the hassle and noise from the city centre. Cheap to travel to the city. They have good food and beer in the restaurant, which also has a billiard table and a dart table. Cozy area to sit and relax and read, close to the river and nature with soothing bird sounds. Really enjoyed our stay, would stay there again if ever back to Kandy

Amazing place, with wonderful helpful owners! The rooms are clean, nice view to the river with a beautiful restaurant also with the river view!. The owners also helped us in getting back lost items in the uber we booked. They really care for their guests! Definitely again! Thank you so much

Nice and quiet location to spend a family holiday with nature and view to Mahaweli river. It was lovely to meet the owner who is a friend of my sister whom she met after 40 yrs! Had a great time singing karaoke and playing pool. Great place to relax.

Perfect stay with Friendly service.. Lovly & Safe place to stay with family..The food was so unique and delicious. Love the ambiance of the restaurant.|I would mention that the staff and Ms. Padmini &Mr.Thilak. They are so sweet and super professional.Highly recommend for a relaxation on your vacation.

Beautiful fresh food & a lovely, tended, tiered garden, next to the river. They are incredibly welcoming, kind & helpful. The hotel is clean, bright, cared for & spacious. I would recommend staying here to everyone coming to Kandy. Especially make sure you try the delicious curry- prepared in the families open kitchen - I really enjoyed sitting on the large balcony surrounded by birdsong & curling up in the big comfy bed with a book borrowed from the shelf. There's a large open plan restaurant & everything is very well looked after.
